Very nice hotel, a little off the beaten track. Professional and attentive service. Excellent food - very diverse, delicious and excellent service. Disputes pool. Rooms clean and functional, well-muted. Great place for a holiday with children away from the city.

Our family had a fantastic time here. It's a nice, calm, beautiful hotel with super friendly staff. The gardens are extremely well maintained and ocean view is spectacular. We especially loved the pool. The atmosphere is generally very relaxed. We were not staying here to sightsee KK as it's not near to the city centre, but personally I preferred it... More

I had my wedding in Borneo Paradise Beach Hotel and it was a positive experience all the way. It is a hotel run by locals and certainly has the local taste to it! The staff at the hotel are very helpful and will try to help in whatever way they can. All of our requests were accommodated and there is... More

We were staying in a nearby house to this hotel and decided to go here for dinner as it was nearby. We were given a table, on one side a generator, on the other, staff kareoke. We were then informed that almost all of our drink and meal choices were unavailable. When food did arrive it was cold and really... More

We didn't stay here but wandered in for dinner on a Saturday night....we wondered why we were the only diners......4 cats begged for food whilst we were eating....on leaving most food on our plates & paying, we turned to look at our vacated table to see the 4 cats devouring the leftovers, in FULL view of the staff.....must be a... where do i start? Resort? - resort location, with HEAPS of potential, that's about it. Paradise?- appears to be nice but as the first reviewer said, it is more of an extended backyard leading onto the beach. It's a paradise as in from glossy mags, but wasn't w/out it's charm. Beach? - yes it is, but don't expect stretches of... More

We planned to stay here for 8 nights after some days in the rainforest, and escaped after one. We were the only travellers staying at the hotel, everyone else was on a conference, and this helped to make things feel odd. On arrival at 8pm the reception area at first sight was a pleasant introduction, but was empty of guests.... More
