I've lost count how many days (14+) I have stayed at Isles Field Barn since summer last year. Guests are offered privacy and discretion, or some lovely exchanges if a chatterbox like me! The location is perfect for exploring rural Lancashire, including Forest of Bowland, Chipping and Ribble Valley. Blackpool, Preston and M6 access are near to the West. The... More

In the last 7 years I have visited Isles Field Barn 10 times, the last time being last week. It is like going home, I am quite a fussy person but I cannot find 1 thing to complain about, John and Susan are great hosts, breakfast is lovely, rooms are charming and comfortable. It is peaceful and relaxing and I... More

We nearly did not make a booking as a result of reading the nit picking review of Galalass who clearly should have booked in at The Hilton and wonder why someone should publish such a review and question her true motives. We had a wonderful time. The breakfasts, room, company and attitude of our hosts was brilliant and they went... More

I stayed at this bed and breakfast for four nights. It has a lovely setting and the owners are very friendly. However, there were some disappointments which I feel can be easily rectified and I'm surprised that I have to mention this at all as I think that these oversights should not have occurred. I expected to have a breakfast... More

We found Isles Field Barn on line and it turned out just what met our requirements. Lovely rooms, spacious, and John and Susan were the most helpful hosts and the breakfasts were what you would expect from a farmhouse. I would recommend this b & b to anybody visiting the area. Prices very acceptable.

Roomy and spacious family room. Plenty of parking. Scenic farm in remote location, a bit off the beaten path. Be sure to get directions as this was not on our Garmin GPS. Friendly hosts. Wifi works great. Delicious food, all by request as nothing is laid out in a self serve format, as most places do (at least for cereal... More

If you define traditional Bed & Breakfast hospitality as folk letting you stay in one of their rooms and feeding you handsomely then Isles Field Barn is for you. Step over the threshold at the end of a day's business in Lancashire and you will instantly relax; all their rooms are comfortable and the property is set in idyllic rolling... More

Not long ago, Isles Field Barn was home to as many as 50 calves and assorted farm equipment. Then, the owners lived in the listed farmhouse next door. Today, the farmhouse has new owners, and Isles Field Barn has been converted into a characterful and spacious family home and B&B. The B&B rooms are very spacious. Although I had booked... More

Stayed just the one night ahead of a local University visit (had a double and a single room). Very clean and comfortable spacious rooms. Excellent breakfast and very welcoming hosts. Fantastic value. Travelled the 4 miles or so in the evening to the Corporation Arms in Longridge for a lovely meal and good beer, also recommended. Will certainly return without... More

This bed and breakfast is brilliant. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is delicious and Susan and John are fantastic hosts. All in all it is great value for money and I would have no problem in recommending it to anyone.
