I spent one night in this extremely beautiful and cozy family-run b&b and I am happy to say that Mongalletto really does live up to its reputation, this place is amazing !! Upon entry you are greeted by Arianna, the daughter, who is immensely kind and attentive in pleasing her guests. I had asked for a room with a wooden... More

This summer, we went to Mongalletto for the third time. We really like the setting within the vineyards, the restaurant and the breakfast. Small but very clean and nice rooms. We really love staying there. Make sure you go by car or rent a car, because Castellinaldo is a very small town and you need a car to visit the... More

We stayed one night whilst touring in this under-visited part of Italy. The rooms are of standard size, modern and very clean. The pool and other outside areas provide plenty of opportunity for relaxation. There are panoramic views up the hill to the centre of Castellinaldo and across the rolling Roero vineyards. Breakfast on the sunny terrace was a real... More

The is a modern and not so large hotel in a very quiet area. The family is always very helpful and makes you feel very welcome. Rooms are clean and have a/c. There is a clean swimming pool with sundeck. The in house restaurant serves very good and tasteful food and serves matching wines at reasonable pricing.

The menu is very good, with the typical regional food and an excellent wine list. The location is very nice, in the middle of the Roero's vineyards. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, however the service is quite slow.

Modern hotel with very friendly & helpful staff in the heart of the Roero district. Very handy also for visiting Barbaresco. Nice pool & sundeck, excellent restaurant serving modern regional food, seafood particularly good, comprehensive wine list. Wine mark-ups reasonable too. Only drawback was sound insulation in the room, can hear conversations in the corridors clearly & nocturnal plumbing noises... More

From the moment we arrived at Mongalletto, we felt welcome in the property's warm ambience, created by the family and staff. We stayed in the Rose Room which was an adequate size for our four night stay. We had a nice view and a French balcony, overlooking the vineyards. Each day the rooms were tidied and the bathroom towels were... More

for touring the wine regions of Piemont .There are pleasant walks through the vineyards starting at the hotel door. The hotel is very well appointed with spacious, light rooms . The arrangements for dining indoors or outside are excellent. The pool is well looked after and of a sensible size. Security is assured by use of a swipe-card but ,surprisingly, this also... More

We stayed for a week in Mongalletto. The hotel was very nice, in a lovely setting in the middle of the Roero vineyards. The room was very clean and breakfast and dinner are very good. The menu proposes tasteful wines from local producers. The family running the hotel is helpfull. A place where we would certainly go back to!

There is no spot on TripAdvisor to review the restaurant here, was not a guest but had a great dinner experience. Rooms and newness of the hotel indicate it is fantastic. The restaurant and family based staff are fantastic. Great menu, wine list and the chef is over the top excellent.
