All the previous reviews are correct, the place is spotlessly clean with plenty of tea and coffee, the food is great, Mo and Doug are very friendly however we found Doug a little overpowering, he stayed with us the whole time we were having breakfast, chatting and telling jokes which I'm sure for some people is great but didn't really... The service was first class, always with a smile from MO and DOUG. Nothing is to much trouble for them. The rooms are excellent with full tea and coffee facilities, TV. and now we have memory form mattress toppers which give a good nights sleep. Location is very good for travel around the coast and to others places of interest.... More

We stayed one night and found Doug and Mo very friendly and welcoming. Our room was lovely, everything worked well and was nicely decorated. The breakfast was great, thanks Mo, the whole family enjoyed it, and Doug was wonderful with our 3yr old son, whom he entertained while we got to finish eating in peace! Would definitely recommend it.

The welcome, the accomodation and the breakfast can not be bettered. We would not hesitate to recommend Dove Lodge to anyone. Allow time for a longer than average breakfast as Mo keeps wanting to feed you more, and Doug has lots of tales to tell you. We will use them again, always assuming they have any vacencies!
