This is a great little guesthouse, a home from home. Annette & Gill could not have been more welcoming, we were greeted with coffee & flapjacks in the lounge, where Annette & gill joined us for a chat, the friendliest hosts I have ever met. Fantastic breakfast! We will definitely return.

Warm welcome from Gil and Annette as usual. Comfy room and bed along with an excellent and a 'more than adequate' breakfast each day. Lovely clean room and quiet although on the corner crossroad. Lost count of the number of times we have stayed here over the years. Easy access to Sandringham and other places of interest. Ideal get away... More

Run by tow lovely ladies who are very friendly and helpful. B&B is right next to a crossing and does not look like as romantic as on the pictures. The rooms are extremely clean, but reminded me when living in student housing. Breakfast was good, but I would not say outstanding. Decent place to stay, but I thought it was... More

We booked via an online agent for a long weekend. On arrival we noticed that the house is right on a crossroads, and the setting of the property is really not what it is made to look like on the online agency photos. Our room was very small; I do not think we have ever been sold a double bed... More

From being welcomed on our arrival in the spacious car park, to being settled in our comfortable rooms and being offered hot drinks and cakes with our hosts, the visit got off to an excellent start. Quiet but excellent assistance was offered on places to visit and suggestions for evening dining. The house is situated in a superb area of... More

What a great B & B! We stayed 3 nights on our first visit to Norfolk and were greeted with tea and cakes which we took in the garden in the company of Annette and Gill. As others have commented, everything about the place was first rate - with added little touches like the loan of a thermos flask, OS... More

Stopped here on the first night of a cycle trip round Norfolk. They were very welcoming and helpful. We had a comfortable room and a very good breakfast with veggie options if you want them. They also carried our panniers to our next stop. Well beyond what they needed to do.

We discovered the beauty of this part of England over the bank holiday weekend. The Avocets, Egrets, Godwits and Lapwings at the Titchwell RSPB nature reserve, as well as the precious golden sands that stretched as far as the eye could see. Houghton Hall; the enchanting walled gardens, the herd of white deer and the magnificent house. The full English... More

This was a new experience for me. I do not usually stay in B&Bs but attending a family wedding locally enabled me to stay at Ashdene House for three nights. It should have been four nights but a very sick dog back home meant I had to leave a day early. The owners Annette and Gill were the best hosts... More

Stayed for a second time at Ashdene House recently. As the other reviews say, this B&B is excellent, run by the most friendly and welcoming ladies who looked after us a treat. We certainly appreciated the pots of tea in addition to the fulsome breakfasts each day. Will definitely be making another return visit.
