The place is very nice and allow to visit easily the d-day beaches as well as the rural side of Normandy. On the other hand the accomodation is not as good as you would expect considering the price. Room was outside the main building, quite humid and the restructuration has been conducted with scarce attention. The door handle was broken,... More

Patricia and family were very welcoming to me and my father who visited and stayed at La Ferme for two nights in June 2014 for visit to Bayeux...the Ferme is 10 minutes from Bayeux by car and in a quite corner of Normandy...near a old monastary! The room was clean and beds comfortable....in an old building...but felt very modern inside.... More

This place was a bit tricky to find from the directions we were given, but a kindly local lady helped us out. The grounds look exactly like the photo on the website. Many times we found ourselves thinking of the people who had inhabited these ancient grounds. Rooms were spacious and clean though spartanly furnished. We slept very well in... More

We had an excellent3-day stay in mid-July 2012 at the Ferme Manoir. Not so easy to find if you don't have a GPS (Avis was "sold out" of GPS when we picked up our rental car), but the relative isolation of the Ferme - while still being only 10 minutes from Bayeux - is part of the charm. As other... More

We traveled to Normandy mid April. I, my wife and two children aged 10 and 17. We stayed 4 nights with Patricia at La Ferme Manoir. We rented the two bedroom suite. Great accommodations, historical, quiet , clean and comfortable. The kids thought it was cool to be staying in “the barn”. No TV, no distraction. Breakfast was typical European;... More

Wonderul B&B, with a great location just 10 minutes from Bayeux. Easy to find in a charming small town. Patricia is a lovely hostess and very knowledgable about the region, including food, regional products, D-Day info, directions, etc. She was a very kind and gracious hostess. Breakfast of fresh homemade bread, and local preserves and juices was a good way... More
