After a bad experience in another hotel in Tulum this was a fresh breath of air. Defiantly a good hotel with amazing beach in decent cost which is very hard to find in Tulum. A big room and great shower! The breakfast include was nice although they don't have any chairs or tables to sit and eat it so you... More

We stayed at the El Paraiso for five nights in May. We had booked nearly a year in advance and requested the end room nearest the beach.....but when we arrived to check in, we were told that some "regulars" had been staying in that room for a couple of weeks and extended their stay so we couldn't have that room.... There is so much i can tell for Tulum and that little corner at the end of the beach almost! We were lucky to find it! if you dont want to go to the busy site and like to spend at this area, close to the ruins some time, dont think twice, the cabana are great! the service and the... More

Very nice hotel. We've stayed for 7 days - family with a toddler. It's simple, clean, quiet, all the needs are met - hot/warm water, electricity, simple breakfast, parking, security around the clock. Very nice, friendly service and feels very safe. Beach is also public access beach, so be there early enough. It was good for us though since our... More

It's a small quiet nice hotel with a large beach, the problem is they let anyone enter the beach and it is always so horribly crowded, a lot of uneducated people leaving their garbage and beer bottles behind them. Service is good, people are kind, restaurant is mediocre, rooms are ok... I would recommend a more private hotel but If... More

If - like us - you hate big resorts, you love quietness, you want to be by the beach, you find your entertainment out of the hotel, you can walk or drive to get a meal: this is a place for you. Super simple, not fancy, but still clean and 50 meters from water. Breakfast buffet that you take back... More

We stayed here for five days and can not say enough GOOD things about this place to fit in the review space. Located on the best beach in Tulum, the El Paraíso is the perfect locally owned small hotel to use as a base for your stay. The rooms are as shown, lots of high pressured HOT water, a/c, wifi,... After looking at other options, I went with El Paraíso mostly because of its closeness to Playa Paraíso and also because it had a good price for everything it offered. I requested cabin #1, the closest one to the beach, and even though they made no guarantees via email, when I got here it was mine. If you're looking for... More

"Paradise is like exactly where you are right now…only much, much better" Laurie Anderson At El Paraiso Hotel we take great pride in the untouched nature of Tulum. We have therefore created a small hotel in harmony with nature without waiving the comfort of modern living. Our vast pristine white sandy beach and the calm crystal-clear waters invite to stress free beach days, water activities and romantic walks along the shore line. Cool off with a refreshing young coconut picked from one of our innumerable palm trees, take up diving or kite surfing, or just be, and let all your worries disappear while you relax in the shade of an umbrella.Explore the natural wonders and archeological sites of Tulum. One of the best preserved Mayan ruin is just around the corner from El Paraiso Hotel. The ruins set at the top of lime stone cliffs overlooking the waters offer visitors spectacular views. The Sian Kaan Biosphere, cenotes and caves hidden deep within the jungle, as well as national parks can all be found within short distance from our hotel. Add to this the second largest Reef in the world just off shore and the abundant marine life of the Caribbean, which has made Tulum and important and extraordinary location for all types of water sports. After a day at the beach or discovering the surrounding areas, El Paraiso Hotel is a place to relax, unwind and disconnect from the busy days of the normal life. Pamper yourself to a massage from our Spa services right on the beach with the waves of the ocean as the only sound, or revive the ancient Mayan tradition of worshipping the sunset joining us in our sunset yoga on the beach. ... more   less
