Simple yet elegant rooms, comfortable beds, nice breakfast by the beach, oh - gorgeous beach with lots of palm trees, the beach club with chairs and sunbeds all over, great food, turquoise waters, fantastic weather. Free wifi. Right on the gorgeous beach, 15-minute walk from the Tulum ruins. We really liked it.

Looking for a hidden gem of real value in Mexico? On arguably the best beach in the Yucatan? Nancy and I flew to Cancun this past November and after taking a cab down to Tulum we ended up staying for 3 weeks at El Paraiso Beach Club Hotel. During our month away we checked out Cancun and Playa del Carmen... More

I stayed before in a boutique hotel near El Paraiso before (Mezanine) but as they had no room for our last two nights we moved to El Paraiso. I were not sure because of some bad comments in Trip Advisor but the place was fantastic for half the price that we paid in the other hotel. Even the breakfast was... More

Just got back from El Paraiso. Great location. The rooms do not face the ocean, but are close to it. The price was great and included breakfast and beach chair rental. They gave us beach towels for free, but said they usually charge 30 pesos. Breakfast was fruit, orange juice, coffe, toast, and eggs. Breakfast was very good every day.... More

The location is definitely the star of this hotel. It's just off the beach (enough to be quiet when you want it), but a 30 second walk away from the gorgeous ocean. Use of the lounge chairs on the beach is included, which is a nice bonus. The restaurant on the beach also provides a pretty good breakfast in the... More

Playa Paraiso is just what it says it is: Beach Paradise. This is a very small property- just 10 rooms I believe. Amenities are minimal for the price- no chairs in the room- I pulled in the small table from the patio to park the suitcase on; the restaurant is under repair and there is no bar or other way... The is in a good location on one of the most beautiful beaches. However i would definitely avoid this place. The Staff including the owners are so arogant and unfriendly!!!The hotel is very expensive and i must say it doesn't worth it. We stayed there for three nights and after the first night we already wanted to leave this horrible... More

El Paraiso is right on the beach of Tulum. There's not so many rooms and they are all interconnected. The front porch is comfortable, as is the rest of the room, hot shower, cable tv, big beds, fan and AC. Breakfast hours are a bit not-standard: from 8:30 to 11:00, which is good for a day on the beach, but... More
