The place is beautiful, and the view and location is great. We found the hotel staff to be all extremely helpful and nice. The room we stayed in was infront of the ocean, and it was just so wonderful to wake up in the morning and have such a view and to sleep with the sound of the waves. The... more

I loved my stay at Ocho. Great service. Delicious food from the bar and restaurant. Very relaxing and very romantic. Probably the most beautiful beach I've ever stayed on. Easy to walk to nearby restaurants and dance clubs by road or beach. Don't hesitate in making your reservation - you won't be disappointed. more

Nice, clean, friendly staff, nice restaurant, we even had an upgrade ! In fact, the partial ocean view bungalow we booked had a nice view at the back of the full ocean view bungalows. The hotel was not full, and our faces were disappointed, so they offered us an upgrade to the full ocean view. Bungalows are clean, well built,... more

Best margaritas on the beach. My wife and I began our honeymoon at Ocho Tulum and we couldn't have been happier. Despite arriving after the main reception area had closed, we were greeted as soon as we stepped foot on Ocho's sandy premises. Our room, a partial ocean view, was spacious and opened on a balcony with a hammock that... more

Tulum is a couple’s paradise. Ocho Tulum is amazing, the food, service, and location are perfect for romance, passion and play. I strongly recommend staying at Ocho Tulum and making this a place to bring your relationship to new levels of intimacy – the beach is the best, morning walks, night time strolls, with many places to eat at right... more

The memories of laying on a fluffy bed and looking up at the thatched roof while the tropical breeze gently blow through our room will live in my mind forever. The sound of the palm trees swaying outside our room(cabana), the soft white sand and ocean view. The water is warm and friendly. It would be difficult to list all... more

My teenagers and I, and their friends stayed at Ocho Tulum for Spring Break, and loved it. Rooms were simple, and elegant with everything you might need or want. Staff was friendly, and welcoming, especially Crystal, John and Juan. I loved doing yoga every morning in the beautiful studio where you could hear the ocean, and highly recommend Andrea for... more

I stayed in Ocho Tulum with my sister for 4 nights, just to relax and enjoy the weather and beautiful beach. We had a great time in Ocho Tulum and the hotel certainly met our (high) expectations. The first contact with Ocho Tulum was very positive already: the e-mails about our reservation were answered quickly and professionally by someone who... more

I read all this amazing reviews and thought to try a new place in Tulum. The rooms were clean and have all you need for a stay, however no real style. The restaurant is very very large, which makes it always feel half empty. Maybe it was just our week but there were a ton of kids, bless their souls,... more
