WOW! What a paradise!!! Well... definitely not for everybody, but for me (and my best girlfriend who was with me)... it was!!! I could say that it is kind of "deluxe outdoor camping" but that would not give enough credit to UNO. It is not just a "place" it is a "state of mind". You can almost "see" the energy... More

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights in September 2014 and absolutely loved this hotel. It took a little while for the taxi driver to find it as its actually quite nicely tucked away and subtle. It's a very spiritual place, and whilst my wife and I are not the most spiritual of people, the people we met... More

Ideal for a disruptive experience along the lines of disconnection, kindness, healing and simplicity. Enjoy the moonlight on a hammock and hear the wind and the sea. The most genuine offer that Tulum has to offer, no doubt about it!

I stayed here for 5 nights with two friends in April. We are 26yr females on a break from London. After two weeke moving across the country we ended the trip here and rented a cabana on the beach. Stepping out of the taxi and directly onto the beach was breathtaking! Amazing views, amazing room, bathroom and breakfast! It was... More

Very lovely set of cabanas, nicely decorated and on a perfect stretch of beach. Very relaxing place to be, with a range of classes. No electricity in the cabanas, but nice to sit by candle light at night. Very clean and well maintained. Lovely restaurants near by, but if you go out onto the road it can be hard to... More

Awesome location. Amazing food... free breakfast was exquisite... not your typical continental breakfast! Beach was beautiful. AM yoga session in the large hut was splendid. Staying in a gom was neat... could've been sealed off (at the bottom) better... some roaches hanging out bedside a few times, but it is a natural setting, so... Staff could've been a bit more... From their rather difficult-to-naviage website, I had no idea what to expect coming here other than the descriptions from fellow reviewers. My friend and I stayed in a gom, which is like a tall tent. I was a little freaked out by the possibility of cockroaches since the gom isn't sealed at all from the outside, but I'm on vacation... More

Uno is a very special place. On a basic level, it is "bed and breakfast" accomodation but it is closer to staying at ashram, where you are sharing the beautiful spot with the community who live there, who start the day with chanting and meditation (this is something I believe you can join but isn't required). Nothing at Uno is... More

Been in Uno twice, in 2008 and 2012, alone, and can't wait to come back. It is the most amazing place I've been. It is utterly magical.................. But words won't help me define this place, it is all about Being. The amazing fragrances and beautiful music in the air, the space and presence in every step, the peaceful and embracing... More

The hotel has different cabañas (thatched roof houses) which are super charming, and built directly on top of the sand facing east - this means you can watch the sunrise from your bed! You can't get a more authentic experience of being in a hippy commune with total luxury. Uno's cabañas are very large and comfortable (but this is not... More
