Our family stayed at Casa Violeta and had a wonderful time. First off the staff / team were very helpful and friendly. It was very much "old Mexico". The food in their restaurant for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner were all memorable. Even the simple dishes like fish taco's were exceptionally presented and tasted delicious! The execution of ultra fresh Italian... More

Most people go to Tulum for a true beach getaway, far away from the built up areas of Playa Del Carmen and Cancun. This is certainly what we got at Casa Violeta - it was very quiet, only a few cabanas, and a beautiful beach. Unfortunately, that is where the positive experiences end!! - the staff were generally rude and... More

This hotel looks charming on their website, but don’t get fool! When you get there the story is so different. Mario who’s the receptionist and the one that took care of my reservation is clueless.. He clearly is not trained to work in the Hospitality Industry. Mario and the rest of the staff have this weird vibe, its like they're... More

We decided to go to Casa Violeta as it met our requirements 1) minimal people 2) steps away from the beach 3) privacy 4) ability to explore local food options (no resort!). After reading reviews of Casa Violeta on TripAdvisor I was a bit nervous to stay there especially because it was my honeymoon and I did not want to... More

The lovely casa violeta was a great place to stay. I was in a room at reception which was cheaper but staying on the beach would be much nicer. Great loungers and nice stretch of beach. Great restaurant with lovely food, great juices and smoothies and very nice staff. Would go back any time.

A friend and I went here for lunch and to relax on their beach we did not stay at the hotel. The guacamole was a great snack and the staff were very friendly to us considering we stayed for a few hours. The wi-fi was spotty but it was not an issue. The beach and chairs were wonderful. I would... More

To begin with, I had chosen Casa Violeta because of their advertising and photos online, and was disappointed when we saw our lodging. It was supposed to be right on the beach, and it was actually at the back of the complex, right next to the road. We were on the sand, yes. It's all sand there. Beach view? No.... More

My family and I have been staying at Casa Violeta for years. It has become our 'go to' destination for our spring break. In fact, we don't even question year after year whether or not we will be returning. I can not recommend a better family holiday. We go each March with two other families with children ranging from 5... More

I was staying in a hotel down the road from Casa Violeta. Over the 2 weeks I stayed in Tulum, I went to try out the yoga they offer at 8am 3 times. Each time I went, no teacher turned up. The first and second time was okay, I understand Tulum is a very relaxed place which is why I... More
