Nice place. Clean comfortable rooms with air con. We didn't have any hot water one morning, but otherwise no problems. Would stay again. Ta wants more characters so I'll have to write this extra sentence.

We arrived in Tulum in the evening and just walked to the hotel from the bus station. The room was on the top floor with a double bed and an additional single bed - clean and comfortable with view of the surrounding neighborhood. Also a small common open veranda that was shared by the other couple of rooms on that... More

We stayed here for 5 nights in the beginning of October. The rooms were great, very spacious and clean (they cleaned it once a day for us as well). We got a room with the kitchenette which was really helpful, so we ended up cooking most of our dinners here, and it had everything I needed to make a yummy... More

We arrived here from a pretty bad hotel in Palenque, so this place was pretty good. It was an over night trip between Palenque and Tulum, so we were exhausted. The owner was there when we arrived to check in early and she tried to redirect us to another hotel. Because of remodeling there was no hot water until evening.... More

Emma is from Italy and loves to talk. The place is one block off the main road which is a good thing as there is much construction going on on the main road. The rooms are clean but as others have said it is very humid here so do not expect anything to dry out. The free breakfast includes NO... More

We stayed for four nights in Room 4 'Roja' and were initially impressed by the generous size of the room (which features not one but three large beds - one double, two greater in size and one even being mezzanine). From our very first night it became apparent that the room we were staying in had a serious problem with... More

We visited Mexico from 12/8/2013 through 12/15/2013 and stayed at La Mariposa for most of our trip. We originally booked for three nights, but ended up staying for one more. Besides the fact that we loved the city of Tulum (for various reasons), we also really enjoyed our stay at La Mariposa. The staff is incredibly nice, as is the... More

we stayed at this hotel, which we found by luck. The old couple, the owners of the hotel were very kind. Air France have lost my baggage, they called the airport and helped me find it, with no charge on the call. Highly appreciated. The rooms were very clean, bright, and new, freshly painted. Apart from that that location is... More

I have the prettiest beach in the world where I live, so I was not looking to stay on the beach. One block off the main road seemed perfect. Obet was very kind to look up my plane reservation and help with taxis to the ruins and Gran Ceynote, which he suggested. He was also kind to serve me breakfast... More
