We had an amazing lunch at Coqui Coqui. Super cool hotel, beautiful design, and great ambience. Great and inventive menu and the drinks are delicious. While waiting for your lunch, you can enjoy the view of the beach while sipping on your cocktail or visit the coqui coqui hotel boutique which has a really cool selection of Panama hats, beach... Simply wonderful! If you just want to get away for a while, and relax, this is the place. This is a stylish little (7 rooms?) hotel, right on the beach. Very friendly staff and the best guacamole you can get. A hotel to remember. And you want to come back.

Coqui Coqui is a beautiful eco boutique hotel on the beach side of Tulum. It's about 10-15 minutes off the main road, tucked in (and a little hard to find at first). The area is filled with yoga studios, tiny juice bars, brooklyn-owned restaurants and lots of dive spots. The hotel itself is quiet and only has 6 rooms total.... More

Just spent 5 days there and it is EXACTLY what you're looking for...if you're looking for this specific kind of place. With only 6 rooms, it is truly a boutique property and it is RIGHT on the beach. The staff are extremely friendly, the food and drinks were delicious and the style is what everyone else has mentioned (soothing). Room... More

Great aesthetic. As I work in the hospitality business, I like the whole deal - decor, vibe, and most importantly, service and warmth. This place has a nice, cool decor and terrible service. Been there twice and won't go again. Rude, attitude all around. Could barely get a drink, could barely get a smile out of server. And, both times,... More

We stayed at Coqui Coqui Tulum for five days, but felt like we could have stayed there forever. This small hotel with only 6 rooms is beautiful. The room was fantastic, the food was great, best service and the people working there, made it all feel like one big happy family. If we get the chance to visit Tulum again,... More

I didn't stay here. just came for the spa and it was well worth it. After walking about 20mins from my hotel along the beach here, very pleasant, we were met with cool cucumber water and sat in the spartan yet stylish living room of the estate. this is a different building style from the more rustic bohemian buildings along... We rocked up for lunch and asked for a table - the cool guy sorta shrugged his shoulders and we sat down. Quite a while later we waved him down and ordered a beer that took an eternity to arrive. The menu was sparse 6 incredibly expensive dishes none of which appealed so we asked for the bill. It didn't... More

The minute we stepped onto the Coqui Coqui grounds, we smelled the amazing scent of their perfumes and room diffusers (which they have in every room on property). We were automatically transported to "serenity". The service experience was quite memorable. It felt as though we were staying with family. All the staff knew our names and were quite ready to... we had a very memorable experience staying at Coqui Coqui. This vibe is right up my street, so relaxing and beautifully put together, the ambience is great and the scent that lingers around of the perfumery is gorgeous. Yes it is expensive, but this is complete luxury in the most tasteful way I have ever seen. It feels earthy, wild,... More
