we had a very memorable experience staying at Coqui Coqui. This vibe is right up my street, so relaxing and beautifully put together, the ambience is great and the scent that lingers around of the perfumery is gorgeous. Yes it is expensive, but this is complete luxury in the most tasteful way I have ever seen. It feels earthy, wild,... More

I have to say that this is the worst hotel I have stayed in in a long time. I was looking for a room for the final night of my trip to Tulum and decided to 'treat' myself .. the hotel tried to charge me a high season price ... and in the end gave me a partial sea view... More

Coqui Coqui is a very beautiful place with lots of atmosphere. Sadly the service is somewhat lacking. We stopped by for a pre-dinner drink. The restaurant/ bar closes at 8PM. We arrived at 7.20PM and after some convincing, we managed to get two drinks and some taco chips. I had a green veggie drink. Nothing memorable. At 8.05PM we were... More

I didn't stay at the hotel but made sure to visit Coqui Coqui a while ago to get my hands on a slice of scented oil heaven...mmm...my tobacco oil bottle is almost empty and am making a trip to tulum. again. I loved the decor at Coqui Coqui and was attended kindly, and patiently, by an elegant staffer. I promised... More

A friend and I relaxed at their beach for a fresh juice and to check out the perfumery. We did not stay at the hotel. The perfumery and common areas were one of the most beautiful spaces I have ever been. The style was exquisite! My biggest regret is not buying a candle and perfume!

We also spent one of two days at Coqui Coqui basking in their slice of beautifully sun drenched beach heaven. I love the intimate setting, comfortable beach beds and the special attention the staff gives to each patron, be you a hotel guest or a guest for just the day. Weathered and rustically beach chic, Coqui Coqui hotel with it's... More

We are reviewing the Valladolid property which is a one bedroom room situated above the Coqui Coqui Perfumery in Valladolid. This was such a great find and really special place to spend our anniversary. You are on your own - but have all the luxuries of a hotel... but private service (but not intrusive at all!). The breakfast was really... More

I spent a full week at this beautiful little gem on the Caribbean coast of Mexico. The stunning location is right between the white sandy beach at the front and the jungle in the back. The sunrise views from the terrace are magical, plus it is walking distance from some of the best alfresco restaurants and bars in the area.... More

My wife and I road bikes to the infamous perfume shop only to be greeted with a scowl and an unhelpful sales clerk. Needless to say we did not purchase a thing simply due to the staff. The owners must be quite wealthy considering they are likely losing money hand over foot where a simple hola would increase profitability.

Well, if you've been to Tulum you know its all about beautiful beaches sustainable hotels and yoga. Coqui Coqui is very romantic and beautiful but short on amenities and service. There is a small restaurant that makes great drinks and a simple brunch but thats about it. For what we were looking for it was perfect but but not your... More
