That will most certainly be my last visit to Coqui Coqui. The service has always been nothing short of appalling but the decor and atmosphere made up for it. Now? - The furniture is run down, ripped, torn etc. the beach sun loungers being the best example of this. Nails sticking out where wooden lats are missing, torn and stained... More

This hotel was so gorgeous, from the decorations to the building. I loved staying here, although it was very hot in the rooms and the Seaweed was pretty bad when we were there. We still had an amazing time in Tulum. I bought some coconut perfume from their boutique and it has very quickly become my favorite perfume to wear.... More

We rarely have or take the time to write reviews. We wanted to make the time as this Hotel is incredibly overrated(articles written about don't convey the reality of the place) Far too expensive and offers mediocre service if any at all. No ambiance, and not well maintained. It Closes at 8pm. We do not recommend. P.S. Terrible seaweed invasion... More

This restaurant, come hotel is so overrated and expensive that I would suggest that the good reviews may mean that the reviewer didn't go any where else in Tulum. $25 for a Margherita served on a dingy little terrace on old wooden chairs with a menu to match (we didn't order)

Amazing ceviche. You must get this and some chips and guac. Good for 2 people. Perfumery is wonderful add-on and a nice distraction to the sometimes unpleasant "sulfur" smells of Tulum. Overall I'd recommend eating lunch and having a couple drinks on the beach in this beautifully chic area.

Beautiful, elegant 10 room getaway on the beach which still blends beautifully into the lush landscape. Ceiling and floor fans keep the rooms cool and mosquito netting protects you while you sleep. The spa is set on the top floor to provide views of the water.

We had an amazing lunch at Coqui Coqui. Super cool hotel, beautiful design, and great ambience. Great and inventive menu and the drinks are delicious. While waiting for your lunch, you can enjoy the view of the beach while sipping on your cocktail or visit the coqui coqui hotel boutique which has a really cool selection of Panama hats, beach... Simply wonderful! If you just want to get away for a while, and relax, this is the place. This is a stylish little (7 rooms?) hotel, right on the beach. Very friendly staff and the best guacamole you can get. A hotel to remember. And you want to come back.

Coqui Coqui is a beautiful eco boutique hotel on the beach side of Tulum. It's about 10-15 minutes off the main road, tucked in (and a little hard to find at first). The area is filled with yoga studios, tiny juice bars, brooklyn-owned restaurants and lots of dive spots. The hotel itself is quiet and only has 6 rooms total.... More

Just spent 5 days there and it is EXACTLY what you're looking for...if you're looking for this specific kind of place. With only 6 rooms, it is truly a boutique property and it is RIGHT on the beach. The staff are extremely friendly, the food and drinks were delicious and the style is what everyone else has mentioned (soothing). Room... More
