Although the neighbourhood has grown a little too close to Hemingway's there are some cabanas removed from the road and the neighbours. The thatched roof cabanas are outfitted with firm but good beds and great towels including beach towels, and facecloths - two luxuries I enjoy. Good mosquito nets and fans are provided for a good night's sleep soothed by... More

My friend booked a Jungle room for the two of us. The location and ambiance are incredible. The breakfast in the morning and the gentleman who served us was fantastic! The room was decorative and charming however the electricity turned off in the middle of the day. When I went to address the issue to Paola she said that it... More

The resort itself was clean with a courteous staff. The only major problem was internet; impossible to get a connection from my room. We had to walk to the reception area (less than 10 yards away) to use the internet which was a bit annoying. The complimentary breakfast each morning was very good. (Be aware any beverage besides coffee will... More

Really pleased to have found this place. Stay beach side (we didn't) as it's nicer but either are actually fine. Beach is superb and place nicer than those surrounding it. Restaurant and food awesome. We ended up staying longer than planned. Loved it.

this charming boutique hotel located on a pure white beach, crystal clear water offers the best of tulum in an unassuming, eco-chic way... great restaurant, the breakfast is delicious ( & included!!)..the casitas, although a little rough are romantic, authentic and more than adequate, close enough to town to walk or a short bike ride... wouldn't hesitate to return, and... Rude ( lady at the desk), unaccountable( items were stolen from our room and not a thing was done), unreliable ( our laundry was not ready when we were leaving- it was supposed to be ready the day before) and overpriced ( esp the restaurant).

Another relaxing and enjoyable week at Hemingway's! My wife and I enjoy the international aspect here. During our stay we met people from Argentina, Mexico City, Italy, Germany, Australia, England and Colombia. Not one Canadian (except us) or American. A nice change. The layout of the cabanas provide for a very private, quiet, relaxing environment. No one is loud or... More

My son and I arrived on December 26, 2013. I was so happy to be away with him and share a new experience. After a private yoga class, I was approached by Adriana, the manager. She said that she was expecting me to check out that day. It was the 29th. I had purchased expensive plane tickets for my son... More

We returned for another stay at Hemingway and fell in love with the place all over again. There just isn't a better location or a more welcoming staff to be found. Hemingway's new resort manager Adriana is a fantastic new addition. She was warm, knowledgeable and helpful with all aspects of our stay. She even sent me home with a... More
