this charming boutique hotel located on a pure white beach, crystal clear water offers the best of tulum in an unassuming, eco-chic way... great restaurant, the breakfast is delicious ( & included!!)..the casitas, although a little rough are romantic, authentic and more than adequate, close enough to town to walk or a short bike ride... wouldn't hesitate to return, and... Rude ( lady at the desk), unaccountable( items were stolen from our room and not a thing was done), unreliable ( our laundry was not ready when we were leaving- it was supposed to be ready the day before) and overpriced ( esp the restaurant).

Another relaxing and enjoyable week at Hemingway's! My wife and I enjoy the international aspect here. During our stay we met people from Argentina, Mexico City, Italy, Germany, Australia, England and Colombia. Not one Canadian (except us) or American. A nice change. The layout of the cabanas provide for a very private, quiet, relaxing environment. No one is loud or... More

My son and I arrived on December 26, 2013. I was so happy to be away with him and share a new experience. After a private yoga class, I was approached by Adriana, the manager. She said that she was expecting me to check out that day. It was the 29th. I had purchased expensive plane tickets for my son... More

We returned for another stay at Hemingway and fell in love with the place all over again. There just isn't a better location or a more welcoming staff to be found. Hemingway's new resort manager Adriana is a fantastic new addition. She was warm, knowledgeable and helpful with all aspects of our stay. She even sent me home with a... More

I was in Mexico DF working for 3 full stressing weeks, work flooded and I was close to burnout. Went there for 3 nights and it was an unforgettable experience of recovery and charging batteries at full. All the area is just lovely, from the beach cabanas, the garden ones and the jungle ones. The beach is just Heaven on... More

My boyfriend surprised me with a trip to Tulum January 2013. He had just traveled there a month prior and loved it so much he wanted to bring me immediately. I had doubts a destination that involved flying into Cancun could be so incredibly wonderful. Tulum is like an Anthropologie-inspired yoga retreat for Europeans. I thought we'd be eating chips... My GF and I fell in love with Hemingway instantly, this is not an exagerration or a schill. The grounds are grogeous - the sand is fine as sugar, the cabanas are scattered so there is privacy between them, and the only sounds we heard were the birds, the wind, and the crashing waves. Our cabana was perfect for us,... More
