We stayed 7 days in the Beach front Deluxe Superior room. The rooms looks just like the picture, it´s right on the beach and the view is just amazing. The hotel staff was very friendly and the house cleaning staff did a great job. The only drawback was the variable service at the hotel restaurant El Bistro at Ziggy Beach.

My husband and I recently stayed at Cabanas Tulum in March 2012. We stayed in cabana07 and our room was great. Actually the whole hotel was great. The room was clean and comfortable and very quite even though construction was going on right behind us. I agree with other reviews about this being the best stretch of beach in Tulum....

We spent a week there and everything was great. the room was awesome, the restaurant was great, the beach was fantastic and the service was friendly and attentive. Carlos Escalante took care of us and set us up with a great tour of the caves, a great lagoon and we swam with sea turtles!!! I wouldn't stay anywhere else!
