Tulum Dreams Resort July 3 to July 10, 2009 My family and I stayed at the resort from July 3 to July 10, 2009. The ages of my family members are age 18,46,50. The resort ,service, and staff were all great. The food was good. If you go to dinner early around 6:30 when they open there is no wait. Make sure you take bug spray because the mosquitos are bad there. If you book... more

Pros: - beautiful beach, half rocky for snorkeling, half sandy for swimming (go to the right of the beach near the seaside grill) - rooms were clean and nicely appointed - shows were entertaining a majority of the time - last resort to be picked up and first to be dropped off for the chichen itza tours - near tulum ruins and other fun excursions outside of the resort - staff was very friendly -... more

Well I totally forgot to put my expierence at this hotel. I must say that the staff at the pool/activities crew were the best ever - never meet a group of hard working people who go out of their way to make you have the best time ever. The food was unbelievable and the service in all restaurants beautiful. I give nothing but respect for those who travel far to make our stay at any... more

My wife and I returned to Dreams Tulum after a three year absence. We had our honeymoon there in 2006 and decided to come back again. There were a few glitches, and I'll list them first. First of all, not all restaurants are open for all meals. For example, Portofino and Bordeaux and Himitsu and Gohan are dinner only. El Patio and Seaside Grill are open for most lunches and most dinners, but not all.... more

If you want to go to a place to relax.. chill.. or enjoy the local culture..this is not the place to go! It is full of people, it is really expensive per day and it is just not my idea of a good time. Try a smaller, cuter, cheaper and more beautiful hotel.. there´s a lot in Tulum! more

We stayed at Dreams Tulum for our Honeymoon despite the hype of the swine flu. We were advised by our travel agent to ask for a room upgrade since we were on our Honeymoon, he said they do it all the time, well they dont. But for 40.00 more a night they would. Whatever...so we got to our room, it was nice and cool and wet literally. The bathroom floor was wet with a rust... more

We (family of 10 - 6 adults, 4 children ages 7, 4, qnd 2 two year olds) just returned from Dreams Tulum on Thursday June 25th. We all agreed that it was the best vacation we have ever been on. The resort was beautiful, the beach, pool, rooms and service were the best we have seen anywhere in Mexico or the Caribbean. Check-in was a breeze, the front desk couldn't have been nicer or more... more

We spent 6 days/5 nights at Dreams Tulum and had a great time. We are a family of 6 (2 adults, 1 grandparent and 3 kids ages 8-6). We chose a private transfer to the resort because of the distance and it took about 1.5 hours - which actually went rather quickly. Upon arrival at the resort, we were offered at cold towels and champagne. But unfortunately, our rooms were not yet ready (at 2pm)... more

I just got married there in the first week of June, great destination wedding. The drive to Tulum can be tedious since its way past Playa Del Carmen, about one hour and forty five minutes driving. We arrived at the hotel and were greeted with wet towels and champagne. I do have to say that my wife and I worked hard for everything to come out beautiful by finding our own dj, videographer, and florist.... more

My husband and I prepared for this wedding for over a year. With ample time we contacted the hotel’s wedding department, made requests and were very satisfied the day of the wedding. The coordinators were very thorough and patient in explaining what our package entailed and any gaps we might need to fill. We contracted a DJ, florist, and videographer from outside, which were also incredibly affordable and provided amazing service. The hotel was very... more
