I just finished spending three nights at Hotel Kin Ha on the beach. I had a partial ocean view room, and it was more than suitable. The room was spotless and soap and shampoo are provided. If you are expecting fancy, don't bother. The furnishings are what I would call Mexican shabby chic. What makes up for this is the... More

Came here for the first time. A bit expensive in comparison to others in Tulum pueblo, but quite clean and lots of space in the room for our stuff. We don't need much: a bed, bathroom and some closets and shelves because of our dive equipment and good ventilation. Breakfast is a plus. Also a private parking place at the... More

After reading the reviews on here, I was a little apprehensive about my stay. However, when I arrived I was pleasantly suprised. The room was perfect! Nothing too luxurious, but decent and clean! The view of the beach from the room was amazing!! The beach its self was perfect! The restraunt was good for breakfast! The staff was great and... More

This is a simple hotel about 4.5km down the Tulum beach road. The outside environment is beautiful--well taken care of beach 'jungle' and a pristine section of beach. Many other hotels in this area (in particular, those to the north) have beaches which are rocky or dirty--not the case with this hotel. The rooms are basic--a bed, private bath and... More

This is definitely a different type of beach experience. We had room 3, ocean view, above the restaurant and we were very happy with it. The view is incredible! Seriously amazing. Beach seldom has more then 3 people on it at any one time. Restaurant is handy and not nearly as expensive as all the surrounding ones. Food is good.... More

Just returned from my second trip to Tulum and was literally grossed out by the "garden view" room we were given. The room smelled like the restrooms in Penn Station and the floors were sticky with god knows what. Our room was right on the main path so that you would have had to lock the door at night and... My husband and I stayed here for five nights in January and loved it. I would definitely stay again. We stayed in room 3, above the restaurant, which has a nice balcony overlooking the beach. Even during peak season this part of the beach was not terribly crowded and seemed quite private. The accommodations are not luxurious but had everything... More

One of the cheaper hotels in Tulum that is right on the beach and has a has private bathroom and bar/restaurant... which if you know Tulum, is not common for inexpensive places. Hotel room size was fine, bed really small, a little stuffy on one hot night. We had the upper corner room on the jungle side. Towels were stained... More

Playa Kin Ha is very cute little hotel right on the beach. The beach is amazing, very soft and white sand like sugar. The sea was clear and warm. They were not too many people on the beach, so sometimes we would be the only ones swimming in the sea. Stuff is very friendly and helpful, although don't speak english... More
