I'm writing this after reading some people people's reviews that seem odd to me. We spent a full week at Mezzanine in February and enjoyed our stay thoroughly. The rooms were beautiful and I've never seen cleaning ladies spend as much time cleaning hotel rooms. With reports of thefts at other local cabana hotels we put everything in the safe... more

We were robbed at Mezzanine last week. We felt it was an inside job considering the circumstances. Be very careful!!! more

My husband and I stayed at the Mezzanine for our honeymoon last July. We had the most fantastic stay - the hotel is IN a nature reserve and therefore has to be environmentaly friendly which is important to us. We stayed in one of the suites and can say that they were exactly like in the pictures on their website.... more

This was a superior 'boutique' hotel on a beautiful stretch of beach. The food was just excellent, and the staff couldn't do enough for you. You could go to sleep listening to the ocean, and wake up to the sunrise. The hotel manager made sure we did and saw everything on our list, provided driving directions, snorkeling equipment, and made... more

We stayed at Mezzanine for 5 days as part of our honeymoon trip to Tulum. It was completely different than other places we have stayed. It was very hip and boutique style which was fun. The decor is very nicely done and you feel like you are really living the high life when you stay there. We really enjoyed our... more

My wife and I agree that Mezzanine was our best trip to date. Mezzanine is a small hotel with about nine rooms. Four ocean view, three lower level, and two suites. The hotel is very well maintained and they are constantly upgrading the facility. The staff at Mezzanine are a big part of the trip experience. From talking to the... more

The ultimate romantic getaway, Mezzanine is beautifully situated on the the top of a cliff overlooking the ocean. Steps lead to a postcard style beach, and their restaurant has the same fantastic view. Our rooms were spacious, thoughfully laid out, well appointed, and the beds were extremely comfortable. We stayed in both the Oceanview and the Master Suites, and both... more

This review of our incredible time spent at Mezzanine is long overdue - so please read, scan or skip at your leisure... After spending days/weeks pouring over trip advisor reviews and planing our 2week mexico holiday, i came across this place on here and I booked 3 nights. We both agree this short stay was the highlight of our holiday... more

The day after our wedding at Dreams Tulum, my husband and I went to the Mezzanine. It was exactly what we needed. Small boutique hotel with a GREAT vibe, gorgeously decorated- incredible rooms, great beds, beautiful beach and fantastic cocktails! Completely solar and wind powered but very chic and cool. HIGHLY recommend it! Oh and they have delicious food. The... more

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Mezzanine in late October 2008. It is amazingly romantic and intimate. The rooms are beautifully appointed. The beds are just dreamy. The beach and ocean views are fabulous. Very quiet and isolated. Its a small boutique hotel and there is not a large service staff. The check in/out process is a little informal. I... more
