The Mezzanine is a small hotel with spacious accommodations right on the beach in Tulum. The hotel is lovely with a great places to lounge and enjoy the view of the water. The restaurant serves an excellent breakfast as well as very good Thai and "beach" cuisine (burgers, tacos, etc.). The bartenders are skilled, and you can't beat the 2... More

Exceptional location, ambiance, music, service! A cut above the rest. If you are in the mood to "live a little" come to the Mezzanine, grab a seat underneath the gazebo, order some drinks and witness the magic of life unfold as you clearly recognize this is what life is all about. Then order a bottle of champagne and make that... More

I had always enjoyed my previous trips to the Yucatan Peninsula, mainly to Cancún and Playa del Carmen, and in those occasions my friends always spoke highly of Tulum, its more peaceful vibe and its boutique hotels, Mezzanine Hotel always coming up on those conversations. Finally, I decided to visit Tulum and I couldn't be more pleased with my choice:... More

My husband and I purchased land in Tulum three years ago. The developers recommended that we have lunch at Mezzanine, so we stopped by on the way to our hotel in Playa. We were blown away by how delicious the food was at Mezzanine. We also happened to be there during the 2 for 1 margaritas happy hour (which happens... More

The Mezzanine is located on along the long Tulum beach strip, but a little away from other hotels (about a 5 minute car ride). The beach is wonderful and you get a daily fresh beach bag with towels and water to take down to the beach. You can also walk the beach to the Tulum Ruins- a nice morning walk... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mezzanine and commented on our first day at how fantastic the staff were. Unfortunately after we checked-out, but stayed for a few hours to enjoy happy hour and lunch, that all changed. The bar staff we're rude and annoyed that they could not allocate our bill to our room anymore, and tutted with some... More

This hotel helped make our honeymoon in Tulum awesome. It has only 8 rooms total, which makes for a quiet stay. The staff are very nice. Maggie at the front desk especially helped make our stay here awesome. We made frequent use of the free snorkeling equipment to check out the beach. This hotel is within walking distance of playa... Just returned from an amazing stay at the Mezzanine (March 2015)! Everything was perfect - the beach is gorgeous, the food is absolutely delicious, the staff couldn't be any nicer and the hotel's relaxed vibe and amazing setup can't be beat. Special thanks to Maguie for helping us pull off an incredible surprise for my husband and for being there... More
