I've been to Posada Margherita many times through the years and it never disappoints! First off, the setting is beautiful. Lovely deck facing the ocean with many candlelit tables. There are also many nooks with booths and tables that give it a charming feeling. They have a simple but excellent menu of pasta and fish. The menu hasn't changed in... More

This is a non-traditional, charming open-air posada with only eight rooms. The posada sits on the beach and operates from the restaurant which is the heart of the hotel. No formality of an office exists and atmosphere is very casual and relaxed. Felt at home and enjoyed my stay! You are roughly 150 feet to a white sand beach at... More

The food is great the service is awesome and low key- no ones in a rush-but that is all part of the charm. Menu is small with local fish; and the pasta isn't even mixed until you order. The owners are friendly and enjoyable, they both have been working the restaurant on everyone of my visits. Bring cash. relax order... More

The food is wonderful, but its a little on the pricey side even being an ocean front restaurant. Still recommended though! The view is wonderful, it's open to the beach and you just can't get a better seat than in front of the ocean!

Their food is good and service friendly. The negativity of this review is entirely related to how Posada Margherita requires their payments. I was trapped into paying $35 in fees just to pay the bill. They require cash, which is fine, and they have an ATM conveniently located in the restaurant. The catch is that their ATM only dispenses US... More

The food here is AMAZING! The ambience is just as good!! Very authentic Italian food. The seafood is as fresh as can be. The pasta is made that night. The service is good, however, you will wait in a queue as it's very popular. All in all - it was a beautiful evening!!!

I had dinner at PM 4 years ago. I thought the vibe was cool and it seemed like a neat place to be. In 4 years time, the menu remains EXACTLY the same. What has changed is that they have crammed in way more tables and any service that they used to provide seems to have gone away. Seriously. I... More

The restaurant was very pretty and overlooked the ocean and gave us easy access to the beach for the afternoon, but after a tasty but nothing out of the ordinary meal we shelled out $200 for lunch for our family of 4. We had one glass of wine and one fruit juice and water to drink and no desert. That... More

didn't stay at the hotel, just ate at the restaurant and perused the boutique that had beautiful, expensive, made in brooklyn dresses, and snobby help. restaurant decor is trendy - shabby chic. great location - on the beach, so it's nice and breezy. no bug spray necessary :) menus are serious - made of wood and read to diners by... We stayed 5 nights at Posada Margherita. Booked the room six months in advance, asked for some sort of view to the ocean and were told I will be given a room with a partial view...that was not the case. Our room (room number 1), a spacious, rather comfortable room, had a porch but no view at all. The room... More
