Posada Magherita is very well known for its amazing restaurant. I had been there many times in the past. For the first time I stayed in one of the 7 or 8 rooms. Awesome. This place is just made of lovely details... boheme and rustic but soooo well designed and placed. You just feel at home. Owners and personal are... More

Our first day in Tulum bright us to this highly recommended spot. The food was excellent. Fantastic focaccia bread! We had a salad, grilled shrimp plate and a pasta dish and everything was very high quality. That said, if you are looking for street taco prices, stay away. This is more Manhattan than Mexico in that regard. But where in... More

The beach was beautiful and the restaurant interior has a relaxed vibe but the servers are pretty smug and arrogant. The food was so-so. Home made pasta was over-salted but the fish was perfectly cooked. The servers just basically threw the food at us and left, didn't come back to ask how things were and barely got our drinks out.... This was our first visit, but not our last to this charming hotel and restaurant. Don't look for telephones and TV or "modern" conveniences but enjoy the wonderful atmosphere of this small hotel. The restaurant specializes in Italian dishes prepared from fresh ingredients with several seafood options. Service is casual and "laid back" The uncrowded beach is a joy to... More

The posada has rooms topped with palapas and has the feel of a rustic place, but its clean and comfortable. The beach is incredibly white and there's plenty of it to walk around the hotel. If you travel in couples this place is just right. Book ahead to get a good rate, getting at the hotel and book there is... More

If you're looking for a break from Mexican food then this is the place to go. Simple yet wonderful food because it's made from the best ingredients. Pretty reasonable prices as well for this part of Tulum. Really lovely meal and would suggest any of the pasta dishes!

If you're after some good Italian food and a great view, then this is the place. If you're looking for good, hospitable service...then maybe go somewhere else. The waiters are arrogant, non responsive and pretty unfriendly. Compared to all the fantastic service we have received ever other lunch/dinner of our holiday, this place stood out for the very opposite reasons.... More

Great decor and design but not my favorite place. No prices on the menu and very difficult to get service. We stayed at the hotel and asked for beach towel which never came in three days but also never offered a drink on the beach. But because there were no prices and we finally found out our check was put... More

After all of the wonderful reviews we read we were very excited to eat here. The menu appears to change daily and had 4 main meal offerings when we went, so don't head here if you're looking for something specific or a traditional Italian meal. In terms of service, there were 5 different people who waited on our table. Overall,... More

We stoped by this beautiful Eco hotel and the place is just amazing, honestly one of the most beautiful hotels in Tulum. We where hungry and the staff showed us the menu, we immediately saw that it was expensive but our expectations where high so we stayed. I also have to mention that prices in menu where not showing a... More
