We absolutely loved our little bungalow on the beach. The staff were very nice and our bungalow (#5) was beautiful, clean and comfortable. We loved having a beer on the porch or reading away the afternoon in our hammocks. There was unfortunately a lot of kelp everywhere on the beaches at the time we were here, but we swam none... More

We have visited Tita's over a dozen time over the years and each visit is unique and special in it's own way. Beach is pristine and though simple the cabanas are all we need. This is a spot to visit for true R&R. Restaurant offers great food and the staff is fantastic. Ten years ago this was an isolated spot--with... More

We visited Tulum as one of three locations in the Riviera Maya for our honeymoon. Wedged between the jungle and the ocean, with palm trees and pure white sands - it was breathing! Our cabana was basic but magical especially when you consider the effort made to ensure the eco friendliness of the place. There are no plug sockets, kettles,... More

Referred by a friend who has been coming to Tita's for several years, I can see why. The property has what is important to me, simple clean well appointed cabanas which are 20 to 40 yards from the Caribbean Sea. You can hear and see the waves coming in. Just what we wanted. There are no opulent appointments to the... More

I LOVED my time at Tita Tulum. The place is right on the beach - I mean you walk out of the door of your room onto the sand. It's truly spectacular. I needed a get away from the crazy city life and this place was great medicine. As a solo traveler I felt safe. I would request a room... More

This is rather a late entry! We stayed here in October of 2001, only a few weeks after 9/11. Needless to say, most of Mexico was empty. There was us, about 6 friendly stray dogs and 7km of pure, unspoilt beach. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, we were fed and watered impeccably. I have often dreamed of... More

Wife and 2 yo just got back from a week here. This place is a ridiculous value given the very high average prices in Tulum. The website pictures just do not do it justice. Yes, the rooms and furniture are a little older than some of the newer, hipster places, but that gets you two things: 1) charm and 2)... More

Several years ago we had rented a house near Tita Tulum, and eaten at the restaurant several times. We know about Tita Tulum, and knew what we were getting. This year we had four extra days in Mexico and decided to end our trip with a stay in Tulum. When we called for a reservation the only room they had... More

My husband and I went here for our baby moon recently and we just loved it here. The Cabanas are right on the beach, and you can see and hear the ocean from your cabin (if you splurge for the more expensive ones... they obviously charge more for that!) We were warned that these cabins would be "rustic", but honestly... More

When it was time to checkout, we were disappointed. Our stay in our beachfront cabana was simply incredible. Peaceful and relaxing. The cabanas at Tita Tulum are excellent. Front porch hammocks to nap in and watch the ocean waves. This is a true eco-lodge as there are no electrical sockets in the cabanas or air conditioning. Just what we wanted.... More
