This is a hard review to write because we actually liked the hotel and would have given it five stars under different circumstances. The rooms are quite large, clean and well-maintained and the price is competitive with the insanity that the Tulum beachfront has become. We stayed two nights. The first night was fine. The second night was not. We... More

The cabanas are very big and clean. It's not big luxury but you have everything you need during youre stay. the only min point is that there are no electrical outlets in the room, so you need to charge youre cameras and cellphones in the reception/restaurant. our cabana (the Coral room n°7) was located near the beach, good location! it's... Went to Mexico Aug. 20-27th and stayed at an all-inclusive on Maroma Beach. Wanted to try something different and decided to book Sunday night at Tita's. Caught a cab from our resort to Playa del Carmen and then caught a collectivo for two to Tulum for 90 pesos. Had to catch a taxi by the ruins to our destination for... More

What a sweet gem sitting right on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Tita's is an example of beach life untouched by western demands. The rooms are basic and have all you need. Ceiling fan, shower, netting around the beds( to keep any unsolicited visitors away.) A great porch with hammocks and a perfect view of the... More

I stayed at Tita Tulum for about 5 days and it was pretty much everything I was expecting from a Tulum resort - rustic, beachfront, friendly, and relaxing. My friends stayed down the beach a bit at Suenos, which was fancier with more personal service, but also more expensive. If you are budget conscious but still want a decent resort... More

Concur with all the other positive reviews. We were there 2 days in August, low season, about $110-120/night. It was hot, but we spent much time in the lovely surf a stone's throw from our cabana #10. And the sea breezes kept things cool. We found the restaurant a bit pricey and drove into town most evenings. The staff were... More

O.K. Well, this really depends on what kind of traveler you are. If you are an all-inclusive, resort-style traveler...this is NOT for you. If you are looking for rustic, ocean-front bungalows on white-sand beaches...this could be for you. Very clean bungalows with minimal amenities. No AC, laundry or pool but the view is spectacular. There are nice lounge chairs and... More

Our two families (2 couples, 5 kids) loved Tita Tulum. I'd been eying it for years, and was worried it would disappoint. Well, it was better than expected. The cabanas are much cuter on the inside than I'd judged from the pics on TA (if not a little dark -- esp. at night), and the proximity to the beach even... More

We love Tita because it is simple. It's right on the beach, the cabanas are spacious and employees are nice and discreet. This will be our 3rd time in August this year, I need to book fast! The only thing I would ask is shampoo :)

Where do I start? Over the years we have made a few day trips to Tulum from Akumal and fell in love with the beach. After careful research and word of mouth we decided on Tita Tulum. The property has a great vibe and lovely staff. We loved being able to walk out the door and right into the sand.... More
