I came into Villa Tulum for a nice relaxing stay in Mexico and I really enjoyed it. This is a family run business that offers great service. Next time you are looking for an affordable relaxing stay in Tulum come and stay here. more
The hotel staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Excellent meal but a overly salted for our taste. Location was perfect for us since we casually strolled into town for shopping and some meals. We couldn't find any accommodation in advance, so booked a night here. It wasn't a disaster, but it was - as other reviews state - expensive and utterly unmemorable. Even with this being Tulum in high season, you expect more than a dirty room for MXN 1250 a night. Room 13 had stains on walls, other peoples´ hair stuck on the shower tiles, a dirty sink, loose wires where a bedside lamp might one have been, not all lightbulbs either installed or working. We found this hotel via the corresponding website, which looked very nice, so we did our reservation on line. cute - quite - saw an agouti it's not fabulous but certainly safe, comfortable and quaint - cute sea-bean lamps and sea-bean mobiles. Not on the beach - so cheaper. more
We did not enjoy our stay at this hotel. The shower was cold and did not drain. The bathroom was small and felt dirty. The halls/stairs to the room were dirty, with dead bugs and trash.
