We stayed at La Vita e Bella March 9-16 in a beach front bungalow. It was an absolutely great location steps from the water! The veranda was terrific and we enjoyed the view of the water and listening to the sound of the waves at night. The bungalow was "rustic" as many described and it sure did live up to... More

We stayed in this beautiful place for 5 nights. It was so idyllic and authentic. It doesn't get more real and relaxed than this. The staff is really friendly, the restaurant is great and it is litterally on the beach. Will 100% recommend this

We stayed at this beautiful place for 5 days in a second floor junior suite one row back from the beach. The place was nicely designed with the environment. Our room had a wonderful terrace with a beach view, chairs and a hammock. This place was our "splash" for this trip and it didn't disappoint. The sand floor restaurant was... More

If you like to be awokened every day before breakfast opens (and sometimes by a big truck pumping water right outside your un-insulated window) then you certainly have found the right hotel. I even wonder if they pay their staff since all they do is asking for tips. (Even at breakfast that is included in the price you will be... More

I wanted a room by the water in tulum I could not have made a better choice. The natural look of the place is understated yet amazing. A series of palapas in different sizes sitting in this dreamy beachfront hotel takes you to a different time where things were simple. Toss away your shoes and just enjoy the natural setting.... Upon arriving, we were surprised at the experience. You drive into a sandy parking lot, walk through a lobby of sand and proceed into either the bar/restaurant again filled with sand, or the sandy pathway to the beach. We found excellent loungers right on the beach, steps from the water. The sand is amazing, the water is warm and inviting.... More

Beautiful location, rooms and reception service was brilliant. Restaurant food and service was well below average. Great place to stay and many great restaurants nearby so during our stay we just ate elsewhere

It's not for everyone. It's halfway between the backpacking hippie compound and a 5 star all inclusive. You can still book your favorite 5 star spot but you have to spend an afternoon or an evening or a night or all of the above here. Go see their facebook page for great photos taken from guests (including me) First time... More

If you are in Tulum, you gotta stay here!! You cannot go wrong. The beach cottages were $150/night when I was there, but were sooooo worth it. Finally getting around writing review. We went in Nov 2013. If i go again and i probably will to Tulum, I will definitely stay here again (and I am usually the explorer type... More

Perfect in every way! Nice friendly people (Patricia and Griselda to mention a few), clean and well kept, great food! The beach is amazing, walking distance to the ruins, sunbeds and delicious breakfast included. The Italian name is proven by the food, in fact their Italian food is better than their mexican (which still is great)
