We stayed at La Vita e' Bella for 7 nights at the end of March. We were meeting our friends for a week long vacation on the beach. The staff was extremely accomodating to us as our flight was cancelled and we were not able to arrive until the following day. They allowed for us to stay an additional day... More

We just stayed at la vita e Bella. the beach is the best I've seen in my life the ocean is of different colors of blue, the sand is very fine and it has gentle waves. We thought that the hotel is too rustic for the cost, we payed 280usd per night the mattress is not comfortable and you don't... More

Hello and thanks for your review. We are not a boutique hotel, but as specified in our web site a "rustic" hotel located in one of the best beach in the world. Our rooms and the hotel are not overpriced; room rates fit totally the Tulum market and the place worth it. We are really glad that you enjoyed our... More

My partner and I arrived at La Vita e Bella earlier this week, for a 3-night stay. We had just come down from a beautiful stay in Playa del Carmen and were making our way down the Mexican coastline. We had reserved the bungalow ahead of time for $250+/night, pretty expensive, even among the higher end resorts. When we arrived... More

Thank you for your review, maybe it will help us and future guests. We are very sorry that you could not find a parking space at your arrival; parking is upon availability for all guests staying with us, but should you have let us know before your arrival that you needed a parking space, we would have tried to reserve... La Vita e' Bella, or Life is Beautiful in Italian proves RIGHT. This fantastic intimate resort offers personal bungalows right on the beach. I fell asleep to the sea wavers at night and woke up to birds chirping. The main restaurant opens to the white sand beach as well and you can each your breakfast (included in price) on the... More

I am a actually so close to giving this 5 stars. If they had a 4 1/2 that would be perfection. I stayed in bungalow #2 which is maybe 50 steps from the water. We had a hammock and a semi obstructed but wonderful view of the ocean. It was absolute paradise. The water was perfection every day and the... More

1st, from the minute I began to correspond with Em via email, I knew this was the place for us. I was turning 50 and my partner of 20 years was just completing cancer treatment. Em and Joel at the front desk were incredible. Very helpful and pleasant, always. Marco and Stephanie, in the exquisite restaurant on site that we... More

We stayed at one of the beachfront cabanas at La Vita e Bella for 3 days in February. Just a beautiful spot right on the beach. Cabana was quite comfortable and we loved the little balcony. Beach was not crowded, swimming was awesome and the restaurant served up some nice dishes. The breakfast was okay, was glad that it was... More

This hotel is so close to perfect but they have a few rather maddening omissions. We started out on the beachfront huts. Do not stay here. They are overrun with sand, sticky, just a mess. The non-beach huts would be considered beachfront in any other resort, stay there. The huts are adorable (Robinson Crusoe is correct!) - we stayed in... More

We have stayed in Tulum on a few occations and had quite high expectations to this place after reading good reviews. I must say that we had a "standard room" on 2. (top) floor fo a palapa style building, behind the beach front cabanas. I can not vote for the cabanas, as I have only seen them from the outside.... More

It's not quite a desert island but a small cabana here on the beach is probably as close as many of us will get. The hotel is a group of thatched roof cabanas on the sandy beach only a mile or so south of the Tulum Mayan site. We had a beachside room with a veranda, three chairs and a... More
