SECOND HONEYMOON 9/19-9/26 BACKGROUND My wife and I were looking for a place to travel to for our second Honeymoon. We decided to do a honeymoon every five years of our marriage. Our first Honeymoon was at Sandals Resort in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. So for this trip I gave her the same requirements swim-up bar and crystal clear water (ocean/sea).... more

We booked this on the recommendation of a friend and were not disapointed. Reception helpful and quickly given room keys. The complex is big and it took us a couple of days to get to grips with what was where, but they have little trains that take you around the complex easily should you not wish to walk. Room excellent,... more

I have just returned from this hotel where I stayed from 23rd Sept to 30th Sept, it was brilliant and cannot fault it in anyway. I have to say I was abit worried before going after reading some of peoples bad comments about food ect, however having been there I cannot see how we are talking about the same place.... more

There were 8 of us went out as my daughter was getting married their on the 22nd September. Despite many anxious moments by us all leading up to the big day, it was all... more

If you want a nice relaxing vacation, I can't say enough about this resort. A friend and I decided to book a week away somewhere where the food was good, the beaches incredible and the resort soul satisfying. We arrived September 22nd to an incredibley humid day ....it could have passed for a steam room. Our shuttle driver Carlos however,... more

In order for this review to be as helpful as possible I thought it would be a good idea if you first know who I am and what I look for in a resort/vacation. I hope others take a similar approach when writing there review as the saying hold true “different strokes for different folks”. About me: I’m a 26... more

My boyfriend and I went away for our first tropical vacation ever and it couldn't have been any better! I chose this hotel after many hours of endless research and suggestions of all the helpful travellers on this site, but mainly because of it layout as all the villas in the tulum section are spread along the beach therefore giving... more

We just got back on the weekend from a one week stay at Gran Bahia Tulum. The rooms were average, but contary to some reviews, very clean and staff were very accommodating. The food at the Buffet was kind of average with very little variety. The restaurants were good. The resort was huge as mentioned previously. We were located by... more

I just got back from Mexico from my stay between Sept 13 - 20 and I have to say I was a little disappointed. I did a lot of research and heard a lot about this resort so I had high expectations. The rooms were good size but dirty with mold on the doors. Buffet was not so great; same... more

I just literally came back from Mexico where I spient a week at the Grand Bahia Principe. The hotel is certainly not a 5 star hotel. The food and coctails were of very bad quality. The place is ridiculously overpriced, phonecalls to Europe cost 5.6 dollars per minute (when you get the receipt the duration of the call is not... more
