I have traveled into 12 Central and South American Countries over the last 2 years and this was the best hostel I have been in. Excellent free breakfast and supper kitchen supplies. The best information was given by the staff as far as things to see and what the prices were. I would love to revisit this hostel on my... More

This place was nice. Clean. Amenities: Wi-fi (only in foyer and kitchen area), huge lockers that can fit entire pack into if needed, pool, cat, bats, make-it-yourself breakfast, big kitchen for cooking. This place was nice. Rooms were clean but I found Tulum, overall, to be much more expensive than what was listed in Lonely Planet. Slight Bummer. Vegans- bring... More

This hostel is well located, about 3 blocks north of the ADO bus stop. Be careful if using google maps to locate the hostel as the hostel has relocated and google maps still showed the address at the time of writing this review. Beds were basic but comfortable enough. Staff were good though there were some occasional language barriers. Wifi... More

During our 2-week trip we stayed there twice. First time, we came from the cabanas by the seaside, and after ants invasion and a leaking roof with the rain dripping straight onto our mattress in the middle of the night, Weary Traveler really felt like an improvement. First room they showed us, was upstairs with no window and so we... More

My original reservation was with another hostal, which was dismal. The manager there graciously suggested Weary Traveler as a possibility. In the positive: the crowd there was relaxed and helpful, there was a separate non-smoking lounge area, the pool was clean and a welcome escape, wifi worked and the private room was large and came with much needed AC. On... More

We stayed here as everywhere else was full. It has apparently recently moved location- there were men still finishing the roof (!) and the pool was filthy and not in use. We had a private room with a slightly separate bathroom in the corner- when we tried the shower it didn't even work!! The staff were helpful and got it... More

Nice relaxed chilled out vibe. Kitchen with good facilities and free breakfast which is brilliant- variety of cereals, eggs, toast and coffee to help yourself to. Rooms basic but fine and air conditioning was great. Brilliant location just off the main road and not far from the beach and cenotes- can get cheap collectivo, rent bikes or even just walk... More

We went to this hostel based on the positive reviews we had read online. Some of them were even dated recently. I know the place recently relocated and perhaps that accounts for this, but this place is a joke. Their website is completely false. No shuttle, no bike rentals, and their rates are higher. The pool was disgusting. The staff... More
