La Calma was perfect for our group of 14. It is off the beaten path and a nice change to the touristy strip of hotels in Tulum. The rooms are GORGEOUS and the food is beyond incredible. Svatka, the host at the time, is so accommodating and makes such amazing food, your life will be changed by it!

La Calma was VERY relaxing! I had honestly picked it because I was having a hard time finding anything remotely affordable on the Tulum beach. And now, having been there, I would pick it over the beach. There was something really wonderful about spending a sandy, wind-swept afternoon on the white sands of Tulum and then retreating to the perfect... More

Beautiful place, wonderful people, excellent food, many options in the area (swimming, cycling, hiking, snorkeling, food, etc). Thank you for everything, it was great, no errors, I hope to return very soon.

The place is really in the middle of the jungle! Kids loved to see small foxes and other wild animals in the woods. The owners of the place are just perfect hosts. 10 minutes to the best beaches of rivierea Maya, 5 minutes to one of the best cenote... If you really want to see how real Maya people live,... More

La Calma - a magnificent environment in the jungle, full of peace, Nosal, great food. It has a unique location - near cenotes, a moment from the beach, close to Tulum, a bit away from Playa del Carmen, well reached from Merida, ... But the best are people. Mateo and Lucia, their local knowledge and valuable tips are excellent. As... More

I visited Mexico with my brother in September 2012. It was really unforgettable and exceptional experience I have ever had in my life. I was impressed from the first moment we arrived to La Calma till the end of 14-day stay. The whole complex is really built in the middle of jungle. We stayed in Premium room, which is really... Amazing quiet place well hidden in the Mayan jungle, however only few minutes by car from the nearest beach. Rooms are clean, simple but very stylish in terms of the local culture and offer privacy for their occupants. Breakfast are like for kings and dinners are just delicious. Mateo and Lucia, owners, are friendly, helpful and always can give you... More
