We could not sleep in two days, noise like hell, they have a disco in next door or something. The staff are very nice and kind, but the place socks. Matress noise, and can not used the kitchen. Could be more tidy too.

I don´t go to a hostel expecting a five star hotel experience, but this place charges an unjustifiable price for what it offers. We stayed in one of the ¨best¨rooms, the bathroom had several visible hairs in the shower and the mirror was dirty. I could probably forgive these flaws but for the fact that the place is charging 46... More

We booked here for 2 nights through youth hostel because it was the only one available (high season). We payed USD38 for a "private room shared bathroom", but when we got there we got no info about anything and were told the room was "semiprivate". Registration: pretty confusing, small reception. There was no electricity at the time (apparently this is... More

The jungle atmosphere is a great place to spend your stay in Tulum. It is located about one block away from the main road in the city so access to anything is very easy and you can avoid the constant hustle and bustle of the street. The beach is within walking distance and the Mayan ruins are right there too! If... More

It's a little hostel. Everything is very rustic and very minimalist. The bathrooms are very clean! The staff is excellent and very friendly especially Rebecca (Brazilian). It's a cheap place to stay. Our room was a three person room next to a 7 person room with guys and girls all mixed in. It had a bathroom that we could all... More

I was firts disapointed by overbooking maded by the hotel, unless we made a reservation there was no room left 4 us, so...we slept in a dark, dirty and "bugged" dormitory ! However the staff was not friendly, they didn't care about us and was only preocuped by the money tey could earn ! We have the feeling now the... More

Inside of this secret fortress is a for real jungle with huge plants and a natural feel to it, with stone buildings and huge plants. Just like the rest of Mexico, there are bugs and birds and I think that is fantastic. The birds, about fifteen different kinds, start singing when the sun starts coming up. It's such a beautiful... La Cigana was a nice hostel Overall. The 6 people Dorm is very small and has no Space by the beds are very comfy. Shower has hot water which is always good. In the washrooms it's kinda smelly although they clean it. You have there spider webs and stuff like that, but as a backpacker you shouldn't be too spoiled.... More

Three of us stayed in the 6 bed dorm for 3 nights. It's a bit of a tight squeeze once backpacks are brought into the room aswell but just about manageable. The place was a bit grubby but did the job. Staff are friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.
