Someone was supposed to pick us up at the airport. Our flight was 2 hours late, but still... We found a driver to take us (2 hour drive from Cancun airport) and we arrived around 11 pm, to be greeted only by a black dog named Pablo. I'm not kidding. After waiting around in the dark (no electricity after 10... more

Not normally the adventure traveler, this Four Seasons Girl was blown away by the breathtaking, blue sky, wave crashing crystal clear ocean, and white sandy beach of Amansala. Fully expecting a week of physical pain, embarrassment and failure to keep up with Bikini Boot Camp, I found this program of to be rejuvenating and motivational: Early morning beach walks, (Keep... more

It was a kick start to my bikini body, a wonderful time to spend with friends, a spiritual getaway filled with the most delicsious food I have ever eaten! The staff was fabulous, the weather was great - I'm looking forward to going again! We... more

After reading many reviews I've decided to add my voice to the conversation. Here are the things to understand about Amansala/Bikini Bootcamp...each person's experience will be highly influenced by the other guests who are there at the same time as your really become a community. Amansala is a eco-friendly setup which means if you are looking for a 5 star... more

Don't let the name of this great program detour you from experiencing a great chance of keeping or starting an exercise program while on vacation! Amsala an "eco chic" hotel which offers this great program for body, mind and soul with the comradery of like minded women. Early morning walks, yoga, Zuma classes, going on bike riding adventures, to swimming... more

First of all, Tulum is in Quitana Roo, NOT the Yucatan. Its south of Cancun. I opted to rent a car and drive the 2.5 hours from the airport myself, instead of taking a shuttle. Car rental in Mexico is very cheap, so why not. Just in case I wanted to stop alongside the road, or Cozumel or Del Carmen,... more
