My wife and I enjoyed five days with my daughter and her spouse at la Zebra. The hotel has built beautiful modern rooms on one side in the last year. These are a ways away from the rustic pal pas Tulum is known for, but with a marvelous mattress you will sleep like a baby. The plan may be to... More

This trip was a 2-stop trip. We started in Cancun at a big hotel, then did Tulum. Tulum is very laid back, in a jungle environment.. quite different than Cancun which is very Miami-like. La Zebra has wonderful people working there. Ara at the front desk was particularly helpful...and addressed us by name every time! La Zebra is not inexpensive,... More

Also I can't thank their staff enough for providing such an amazing bring the bar down but classy wedding and a wonderful vacation for my family and freinds. My friend and I stayed at la zebra for 4 days but I could have stayed there forever. The beach bungalows stepped right onto the sand and the ocean was just steps away. La zebra and tulum is the perfect mix of rustic beachy, but still very nice. And not too fussy and corporate resort-y. Cool, laid back and utterly... More

Was everything and more for our babymoon! Genuine staff, breathtaking views of the beach, comfortable rooms right on the beach and delicious affordable restaurant on site. Very kid friendly, so if you have the kids, they will be very happy here!

The photos on the website do not do this suite justice! It has two different outdoor areas, one large open area with lounge chairs directly overlooking the beach and ocean and a second, covered area overlooking the main hotel and beach, complete with two chairs and a table. This is nice to either get out of the direct sun, wind,... More

We wanted good Mexican food (surprising amount of Italian in Tulum), and everyone kept tell me about La Zebra. So we went one afternoon for lunch and everything was so good, we stayed the whole day! The food was delicious -- the best we had in Mexico. Every "classic" dish we tried was so well executed and presented. Even the... More

Tulum was a paradise escape from a Missouri winter and was everything I hoped for and more, in large part due to my incredible host, La Zebra. First of all this place is GORGEOUS. Every detail of the design and presentation from food and drink to the luxurious rooms is perfect. It's got a very relaxed vibe and every amenity... More

We booked two days before arriving and they were awesome about making the experience painless (unlike many other hotels in the area!) I'm going to highlight what needs to be addressed first - only b/c these are things I want to know when choosing where to stay! We stayed in one of the 'old' beachfront casitas so perhaps the modern... More

La Zebra was such a special hotel at the end of the beach stretch in Tulum. We had a wonderful experience. The staff is truly wonderful-they help you with anything you need, and are welcoming and kind. The restaurant is the BEST place we ate in the entire week we were there. Had I not left the hotel once, I... More
