I'm done! I've been going there for 15 years. Even before Diamonte owned it. It's the most heavenly spot (under the canopy of coconut trees) and someone insightful layed it out in such an interesting way. The little paths to no where, the privacy from the rocks on both sides, the little private cove. It was very well run in... more

At first glance the Diamante K is really diamante. It is the only place with a private little beach and compared to other hotels on Tulum's beaches it is still reasonably priced. The friendly lady of the reception showed us around, so we had the chance to see all the different cabanas. In the basic ones (about 500 mexican pesos... more

I have stayed there a couple times over the years. It's funky, rustic and a nice change of pace. Bed are not that comfortable and if you are worried about putting on makeup dont stay here. No more than one night at a time for me, but its "vale la pena" (worth while) more

My wife and I were in a honeymoon trip in riviera Maya, and in my opinion Tulum is the most beatiful location of all, even though overpriced. We saw a lot of places before choosing Diamante K, and it was very refreshing to find a place that offers more moderate Cabanas for reasonable prices (comparing Tulum's prices). The Cabanas are... more

The spot is amazing, with a secluded paradise beach, however service was very poor. What I would have expected if I were 20 years younger (now i m 39). more

I agree with the beautiful beach that folks describe at the Diamante K, so I won't go into that anymore (I did find it troubling though that because of the growing ocean pollution problem that hotel staff had to rake the garbage off the white sands beach very early every morning). What I found to be the most disconcerting was... more

We booked in for one night then stayed for three. The cabanas are basic but clean. The restaurant has okay food. (try other places too, theres the best food in Tulum) The little beach in front of the cabanas feels private and secluded but you can also walk to other beaches close by. Lighting is dim at night, take torches... more

When I arrived I was very hungry, it was about 1:30pm and I headed to the restaurant right after checking in and I almost had to get a pillow and sleep there. The food was amazing and the presentation was great. After eating i watched the sun set with my wife. It was a great 3 night stay and we... more

Although the descriptions of the Tulum ruins tend to be the sight mentioned most in tour guides, where we think it’s really at is the beach. There are a range of places to stay in this eco-friendly tourist spot from super simple rooms located directly on the beach for about 600 pesos for 2 queen beds and a hammock, to... more

Unbelievable, that this place is still in Business. Somebody stole $800 USD from our room. Their locks and doors are a joke. Then the management staff avoided our requests to contact police, then they purposefully booked our room after we extended our reservation to stay. They treated us like the criminals. We left never to return C. Knobbs Los Angeles,... more
