I was in Tulum from June 9 through the 17th. My flight was actually on time! I was first off the plane, due to sitting in seat 1B. The arrival hall at Terminal 3 was completely empty so I zoomed right through. They give you a short health form as you exit the plane that has to be completed right... more

My husband and I stayed in Sea Villa #4 for 5 nights of a weeklong trip. We originally only booked 3 but couldn't stand the thought of leaving so soon. The rooms are HUGE. It's nice to be able to spread out -- especially since we spent the majority of our time in the room or deck. It's described as... more

Azulik was my first experience in an eco-resort. Usually I'm more of a five-star fan. But this property displaced nearly every hotel experience I've had, even the poshest. Tulum is the kind of place where you want the quiet of no electricity, the proximity to the sea, and the romance that Azulik provides. I'm already dreaming of my next visit.... more

We're not kidding - this hotel has replaced all other romantic destinations which we travel to regularly. (Sorry Negril!) You might be asking yourself, what makes this place so special anyway? It is location, location, location, ambiance, ambiance, ambiance & service, service. We stayed in both Azulik 1 (Romance) and 10 (Seaview). All 15 cabanas seem to be wonderful and... more

The pics that you are going to find everywhere describe exactly what are you going to live during your stay at Azulik. We have been there for 3 days, 2 night...the perfect amount of days! More days start to be sticky because the salt water starts to make uncomfortable your stay. Being in Azulik was the most peaceful experience that... more

In our 41 years of traveling to unique and interesting locations, Azulik is in our top 5. Beauty, tranquility, safety, ocean, jungle, wonderful food and service, comfortable and picturesque accommodations. Part of the Eco-Tulum resorts (ecotulum.com), Azulik was the central of three resorts (Copal. Azulik, Zarra) on the the Yucatan Penninsula just outside of Tulum. Each cabana was a separate... more

In all my extensive travelling around the world, I have never found anywhere that comes closer to being paradise than Azulik. It's more of a retreat than a resort or hotel. The retreat, the cabanas and the location are breathtaking - imagine 15 cabanas constructed from organic woods hidden away on sandy lanes in the jungle yet right on the... more

Just came back from a 3-night stay at Azulik and was inspired to write my first Trip Advisor review. I had first read about it on Trip Advisor and it met and exceeded all our expectations. Our cabana (#10) was beautiful, the staff (Diego, Edgar, & Eduardo) were extremely helpful and friendly. If you are looking to disconnect and get... more

Azulik is now one of my favorite places ever. The cabanas are charming and the views breathtaking. This is definitely the place to stay if you need to get away from the everyday hustle and bustle. Though not lavish, you have everything you could need or want. It was refreshing to leave the cell phones, TV's and laptops behind for... more
