Additionally, the wait staff was superb and the food was fresh daily. No internet in rooms (a bonus) and there were excursions, massage and yoga available (it was a yoga retreat after all). My girlfriend did yoga twice a day and I walked the beach and hung out. The restaurants around us were all very good - there were no... More

Second stay at Maya Tulum, as part of a Yoga retreat and it wasn't the last. Everything from location, food (i still crave and try to copy some of your amazing, fresh and nourishing recipes!), the cabanas, the ground, the spa treatment (can i take you home ? please ?) was wonderful. I came back rejuvenated, at peace and rested.... More

One if the largest hotel in Tulum, the cabañas/bungalows are located in a large tropical garden, and allows privacy. Most of other hotels in Tulum are small and the rooms are one next to each other with not much privacy. Maya Tulum offers daily yoga classes, good level and great yoga rooms with the sound of the sea. The vegetarian... More

Frazzled by a bad month, I arrived from New York City, and as soon as I stepped out of my taxi to the front desk, I immediately relaxed. My cabana felt more than "basic" as others described - you enter and hear the sound of the ocean all around you in the cabana. There are nice bath products, soft towels,... More

While the yoga and the massages are quite nice at Maya Tulum do not expect anything other than a very basic room. The restaurant staff seems not to be very interested in being there or being in hospitality at all. After a couple of bad experiences with Gabriel in the restaurant (who’s sour demeanor and immediate “no” response to everything... More

Recently returned from my second visit to Maya Tulum and the love affair continues! It's the perfect spot for me since they take care of everything - airport transportation, a great restaurant with fresh, healthy, tasty meals, wonderful yoga teachers and a spa with so many choices of treatments. The staff are friendly and accommodating, the cabanas are clean and... More

I loved our bungalow right on the beach. I also enjoyed the professional messages. In general I would say the staff has a problem with relating to the guests. The atmosphere is professional but sterile. I was also not real excited about the food. There are much better restaurants in the area so I don't recommend the all inclusive option.... More

Maya Tulum is a great place. The people are genuinly great in all regards! They are just as great as this paradise! Carlos Enrique, at the restaurant was outstanding! Elodia is a great professional - gives the best massages! This is a paradise! Highly recommended! We'll certainly go back!

This was our first trip to Maya Tulum, I knew it was going to be a fantastic experience but I was blown away by the end of the week. We brought along 23 women for our first retreat. The staff greeted us with pomegrante juice and welcoming energy. For the past 11 months we had been working closely with the... More

haven't actually stayed here but spend a lot of time here with their great 2x a day yoga (am/pm) and the spa is lovely. enjoy the resort and surrounding areas. el tabano is absolutely my most fave restaurant and it's across the street so a perfect yoga/meal pair!
