This is a beautiful hotel and the owners obviously put a lot of thought into the decor, which is quirky and lovely. The amenities of the room showed personal touches consistent with other B&Bs. The grounds and pool are lovely and well tended. We stayed in a junior suite. The best way to give a fair review is to explain... more

We stayed at the Blue Sky hotel last month. We had the master suite - the bathrooms did not work for most of the time we were there - the manager said there was no water. So ofcourse, no showers & with kids having no use of the toilets was a terrible experience. The electricity also was out part for... more

My group occupied the entire hotel. We enjoyed our stay at the Blue Sky Hotel. The weather was beautiful. Once you entered the hotel, there was a constant, magnificent breeze! The food was delicious! I would definitely return. Gracias Blue Sky! more

Blue Sky was perfect for our family of 6. One of our best family vacations ever. We enjoyed the master suite for a 10 day stay. The rooms were clean with efficient housekeeping. The restaurant was great food. Our teenagers loved the location and spent days snorkeling and kayaking. We all enjoyed the cenote down the road and walking the... more

Very nice boutique hotel right next to the beach featuring 4 appartments. Good Mexican/Italian restaurant. Right next to a nice Cenote and some other good restaurants. more

We booked the entire hotel for our family vacation. The hotel was everything that the wed site says. The beach in front of the hotel is a bit too rocky to really enjoy the water, but if you are like me and just enjoy laying in the sun on the sand this is the place for you. The breeze off... more

We have been vacationing as a group for over 5 years now and we have to say that BlueSky Mexico Hotel in Tankah Bay has been the best so far in overall satisfaction. Although the beach is not for swimming it was perfect for tanning and relaxing (yes there was foot traffic but so light that it was almost non-existent)... more

Pros: Beautiful, peaceful location. Great food. Comfortable rooms. Unique experience. Cons: Remote, which is also a pro, but you'll want to rent a car. You may find the restaurant expensive. Beautiful location on the Tankah Bay about five miles north of Tulum Pueblo. The only sound you're likely to hear is the waves tickling the beach. The surrounding properties are... more

This place is amazing and is great for a romantic getaway. You feel very secluded, it's absolutely beautiful and they have really nice spacious rooms. The food they served was great. It was our last stop in Mexico and I was getting a little tired of 2 weeks of Mexican food and their restaurant was such a nice break. They... more

The rooms were very nice. We stayed in the master suite one night and a ground-floor suite the other nights. Beautiful ocean views... Small problem with ants the first night, but you're kindof in the jungle, so whatever. The cenotes behind the hotel is beautiful. Note that the beach is a little rocky, good for sunning/boating, not so much for... more
