My husband and I have just returned from Tulum which was for us a real paradise. We did a lot of research on many properties in Tulum and are very glad we chose this hotel. There are many things to recommend it including the good service we received from Katrin who managed our booking very efficiently via email a couple... more

We stayed at Piedra Escondida for two weeks on our honeymoon and we could not recommend anywhere better for romance, privacy and pampering. Local facilities were great and we came home with diving qualilfications as well as a great start to the marriage. more

I stayed in this wonderful little cabana resort for five days in December. I was one of the only guests at the resort during my whole stay and had the most relaxing time ever. Tulum is a bit cooler during this time of year but is so quiet and serene. The beach at Piedra is wonderful. Very secluded and private.... more

Run by some friendly Italian expats. Can't ask for a more beautiful location in its own little cove. The waves were a little rough the days we were there but I think the swimming on a normal day would be great. Rooms are very nice and the staff is nice.Walk out of your room right onto the sand. more

We are extremely grateful for our pleasant 5 day stay at Piedra Escondido. It exceeded our expectations. We had 5 of the 8 rooms. We relaxed on the hammock on our porch, had the beach to ourselves, and had a full breakfast for free each day. The staff were so professional and available. I also stayed at the honeymoon suite... more

We checked in for a night and then ask to stay a week. We had room 1 which is roomy and ventilated due to the high palapas ceiling/roof. Nicely decorated with tiles and small mural and a good size space. The bed was very comfy, in fact I had the best sleep I've ever had staying in a hotel just... more

This small hotel with about 10 rooms and is situated on the Mexican Riviera in Tulum. It has charming rooms that are peaceful, and romantic with candle lights, Mexican tiles, verandas with hammocks and an incredible view of ocean just a few feet away. The beds and linens are comfortable and fresh and there are mosquito nets available, which we... more
