I did a ton of research online before I chose this hotel. I have never been to Tulum before, so I wanted to get an idea of what the options were. I got so lucky with this gem. I had a long travel day, and when I finally got to the hotel and parked in their ample lot, I got... More

Conveniently located for the ruins, beach, restaurants and tour of Sian Ka'an, Beautiful setting up against the rocks with its own private beach and great restaurant. The included breakfasts were delicious. Friendly staff were helpful.

We booked our holiday via an agent and therefore did not choose this hotel ourselves, Tulum was our last stop before flying home, so these last days had to be perfect. When the taxi drove out of town we were a little wary that we would end up at a location without any bars/restaurants in the near vicinity. Luckily this... More

Already our second time, my wife and I can't get over how picture-perfect this hotel is. Cabanas right on the beach, very few people, secluded. This is the white sand and surf dream that you think can only be in a commercial. The rooms are simple, clean and romantically rustic with the salty showers, limited air conditioning and simple linens.... More

On arriving in Tulum without a reservation, we checked out accomodation at La vita e Bella and Papaya Playa Project first. In both places we were horrified with poor quality of sweaty small rooms at a high price. On visiting Piedra Escondida, comparatively, you got a nice room for your money, with a little balcony overlooking the small private beach,... More

We stumbled into Tulum without a reservation and stopped at a couple of hotels before we found Piedra Escondida. It's a small little boutique hotel with great service and amenities for a great price. Comfortable beds, A/C while you sleep, and a great shower! Plus every room is right on the beach with a view of the beautiful beach. There... More

During our stay in Mexico, we stayed in this lovely hotel for 4 nights. It's a small hotel with a fantastic atmosphere. It's located on a private beach, which makes the "Caribbean Dream" come true (although there are some rocks in the water). From the rooms, especially room type A, you have a wonderful view (what we really enjoyed in... More

I stayed at this wonderful hotel in late August, for a couple of days and it was wonderful. Although the sea was a bit rough, you always find something to do around the area, and the hotel would not be the same without the advice and helpful suggestions of Djanira, the girl at the frontdesk, she was always willing to... Stayed 5 nights. The hotel is located at a private beach. (sharing with one other hotel). The beach is ok, but swimming from the beach is a bit difficult because of rocks and waves. The beach 1 km. more south is better. In the information (internet and confirmation) about the rooms, it says "AC during the night". AC was started... More

This place had A/C but it was only from 8:30pm - 3am. But, the night stay was only $136 for the night! It didn't however have fresh water for bathing but rather the 80/20 mixture the most cheaper places have there in Tulum. If you want a quiet place to stay, this is not the place because of the live... More
