Great restaurant, great, live music at night, rooms very clean and nicely decorated, wonderful staff and owners, beautiful beachfront location. I found the cheaper jungle garden rooms just as good, if not better than the beachfront cabanas.

We had a few nights here and loved the casual feel. The restaurant was one of the better tasting and value in the area around. The bands they had over those days were more eclectic than a few other places we went to. Right on the beach, in walking distance to lots of the other hotels and restaurants. Just down... More

Loved our room, and we even had a jungle room, not one of the beachfront rooms. Restaurant was good, too. We ate there several times. Try the chaya drink! Staff was super friendly and helpful too. We also used their on site five shop to arrange a snorkeling trip, and that was fantastic too.

Stayed here for a couple of nights as part of a two week trip around the Yucatan. We were looking for somewhere, small, rustic and on the beach - this fitted the bill perfectly. The website said the room was TINY, however for us staying for only a couple of nights it was perfect! The staff were lovely and friendly,... More

I've been meaning to write this review for weeks now, but better late than never! I've been to Zamas well over 10 times in my life, and each time has been more charming than the last. Dan and Susan are wonderful people, and their staff are some of the sweetest people I've met. They'll be more than happy to make... More

It's a dilemma! On one hand you want to tell the world how amazing this place is on the other hand you want to keep it a secrete so the masses stay away. Tulum in general is a little paradise along the Caribbean coast and Zamas makes it even more perfect! Once you get there you don't want to leave... More

Zamas is one of those places that makes the town. It perfectly captures what people love about Tulum and why so many artists types, fashionistas, movie stars and those in the know are inspired to reutrn to it again and again. It is very low key, but intentionally so, and that is part of its charm. I have been to... More

We chose Zamas from the reviews on Trip Advisor and we also wanted something "funky" and not traditional. We had a very late arrival due to plane arriving late in Cancun. The night guard greeted us warmly at 1:00 AM and took our luggage and showed us around our room. We chose the larger room and we were right on... More

We had a super stay in this hotel, a typical Mexican style and a beautiful area. The service is very good and the staff very friendly. The restaurant can't be nearer the sea, and the food is good!!! To recommend......

I couldn't have wanted or expected more. My week at Zamas was one of those rare holidays where time almost seems to stop, it was so completely relaxing. The week felt more like a month in the best way possible! Firstly, the staff is amazing and incredibly helpful. From the first evening with complimentary margaritas when we arrived, to our... More

You’re welcome! It was our pleasure to have you stay with us at Zamas. We’re thrilled that you enjoyed your stay and delighted that you found the staff helpful and friendly. Also, we’re very happy that you appreciated the natural elements of Tulum despite it being a bit buggy at the time you stayed (it’s seasonal). Thanks for coming and... More
