This hotel was just lovely. My mom and I stayed in one of the beach bungalows and it was just perfect. The service was great and the ambience of this hotel was just magical. Pros: It’s gorgeous, rustic, and perfectly Tulum. The food and drinks were delicious and the location was perfect in that you could walk to a few... More

I was sceptical about booking Zamas as I knew it was one of the original "resorts" in Tulum and probably pretty tired looking by now but booking late left me with little option. The bungalows are good value especially for a family as they sleep 4 but they are getting a bit rough round the edges. My bed was well... More

Perfect dinner on the beach for our large group of 12. The food, ambience and service were perfect. The best overall dining experience we had in our week in Tulum. Can't wait to go back and spend more time there. Zamas is the perfect location for an intimate dining experience in the sometimes overcrowded beach town

This place was incredible. A friend and I stumbled into this restaurant for lunch and later came back for the live jazz music later the next evening. Excellent place to watch the sun go down, stick your toes in the sand and relax. Free internet!

Anything comparable in the US would charge atleast $500/night so I think it's a steel at $350. Rooms are rustic, clean and beautifully designed. Bed was so comfortable! I loved waking up to the sound of waves. 5 star plus for it's restaurant....food is amazing!! Fresh, healthy and finger-licking good. Customer service is excellent. Can't wait to visit Tulum/Zamas again... More

Great restaurant, great, live music at night, rooms very clean and nicely decorated, wonderful staff and owners, beautiful beachfront location. I found the cheaper jungle garden rooms just as good, if not better than the beachfront cabanas.

We had a few nights here and loved the casual feel. The restaurant was one of the better tasting and value in the area around. The bands they had over those days were more eclectic than a few other places we went to. Right on the beach, in walking distance to lots of the other hotels and restaurants. Just down... More

Loved our room, and we even had a jungle room, not one of the beachfront rooms. Restaurant was good, too. We ate there several times. Try the chaya drink! Staff was super friendly and helpful too. We also used their on site five shop to arrange a snorkeling trip, and that was fantastic too.

Stayed here for a couple of nights as part of a two week trip around the Yucatan. We were looking for somewhere, small, rustic and on the beach - this fitted the bill perfectly. The website said the room was TINY, however for us staying for only a couple of nights it was perfect! The staff were lovely and friendly,... More

I've been meaning to write this review for weeks now, but better late than never! I've been to Zamas well over 10 times in my life, and each time has been more charming than the last. Dan and Susan are wonderful people, and their staff are some of the sweetest people I've met. They'll be more than happy to make... More
