The hotel is very nice and not the cheapest. The service is a bit disorganized. The restaurant can take forever sometimes To get a basic meal, sometimes More than 30 minutes and not even get any word from the staff. We even got our room a bit later Than check in time because of the organization. Cleaning was dissent although... More

We decided to stay at Rosa del Viento over the Spring Break as our former resort is under renovation. What an excellent choice my wife made! The views were the same which are stunning with beautiful sunrises and sunsets but the food selections and service were better. Also, breakfast with many selections was included in the package. Plus, the resort... More

Tulum is very rustic. The hotel area has no electricity, no mobile signal etc. But Rosa del Viento is so comfortable. Air conditioning and wi-fi all the time. I've read people complaining about "no TV inside the room", "salty water"... It's not Rosa del Viento, this is TULUM. It's the "vibe" of the city. Beautiful beach in front of the... More

The jungle road in Tulum has wilderness on one side and the ocean on the other side. The area is so remote and beautiful. The hotel is near the biosphere and a bit removed from some of the hustle and bustle farther down the road. Bikes are available but it seems dangerous with all of the taxis, which are easy... More

We were welcomed with a tour of the resort and a delicious non alcoholic fruit cocktail, the room was large & comfortable but without any modern appliances (hair dryer, TV etc) which is surprisingly easy to forgo when you get into the hippy vibe swing of Tulum! The place really is idyllic with a garden full of banana trees and... More

Visited Tulum for the first time with my boyfriend and fell in love. Our only regret is that we only spent two days! This hotel met our needs perfectly. I had booked last minute and RdV was one of the few places left that had vacancy, but I'm so happy we ended up here. The room was simple, but totally... More

I've spent there 3 nights with my girlfriend. The location is absolutely amazing (only reason for the 2nd dot in my rating). Honestly, for the type of room we got, the hotel was too expensive and over-rated: - no tv (ok, fine, we can probably accept to have no tv in a location like this) - no telephone (how do... More

We didn't actually stay in the hotel, but we did eat in the restaurant on a number of occasions (lunch and dinner) and we loved not only the food but how incredibly friendly and accommodating the staff were. They also let us use the sun beds on the beach almost everyday because we were staying at the cabanas across the... More

We visited Rosa Del Viento in March after doing a lot of research on boutique hotels in the area. This hotel is at the end of the beach road near the entrance to Sian Ka'an Biosphere. Very private and intimate. The food was excellent, especially the pizza! Everyone at the property was extremely nice and went out of their way... More

Rosa del Viento met our expectations wonderfully. We booked it based on it's location at the end of the beach, the rooms having a/c, wifi, positive reviews, and value compared to other Tulum properties. After our stay, we feel that we chose wisely! Some things we didn't expect but really appreciated: Friendly front desk service, welcome cocktail, and brief tour... More
