We had a private beach bungalo. It was amazing. There are no tvs here, but there is wifi so you can watch Netflix on your laptop (btw Netflix has a far better selection in Mexico than is the U.S.) The beach was gorgeous as were the people here. It was sort of uncanny how beautiful and well put together everyone... More

We spent 3 nights at the Rosa del Viento (RdV) for our wedding anniversary in early December. From the moment we arrived and met Jonathan on reception the staff couldn't have been more helpful, although it helps to have a few words of Spanish when ordering lunch, dinner, Margaritas etc. The hotel itself is basically a collection low-rise (2 storeys)... This place is a real little slice of paradise, the beach is great and very private, the staff is really polite, helpful and genuinely friendly. And the rooms are delightful. The food could be a little more "Mexicano". But aside of that, we may very well miss this place!

If your looking for a great beach in tulum, stay here! Best beach and nice fruit plate for breakfast. Rooms have wifi and are basic but charming! Unlike other beaches in tulum this one has nothing to the right so it feels more open and is away from the other hotels somewhat. Get a moto bike or taxi for evening... More

Most hotels in Tulum offer little in terms of creature comforts Rosa gives you 24 hour electric plus A/C. In addition the rooms are very comfortable and the staff very nice. Of course you're also right on a beautiful stretch of beach. All things considered its a great value. Highly Recommended!

I guess the only thing that left a bad taste was the Welcome, the security guard had more common sense than the person at Front desk, when we got there with our car to get our stuff out, he just said "You can not park here!" well, not a very nice way to start your vacations, right? Everything else was... More

I booked at Rosa's because of the list of great reviews and the value. I've stayed on the beaches of Tulum at various hotels for the last 6 winters. When we arrived we were upgraded to a beach front room on the upper level. The room was small and pristine, the shower was powerful and hot, and we were literally... More

This is a good hotel and this is a positive review. Before I say something about Rosa del Viento, I will say this about hotels in Tulum in general lines: Hotels in Tulum hide behind a "eco", "boutique", "nature friendly" labels (among others) as an excuse not to have air conditioning, TV or phones in the room. However, their rates... More

This hotel is the perfect blend of eco experience and a chic luxurious hotel. The rooms all have a lovely view, no internet,no phone, no TV. Great for a romantic getaway and disconecting for a couple of days. The Bench is AMAZING and the hotel is walking distance from the main street where you can find lovely restaurants, spas, stores... If you are looking for a lovely hotel in Tulum, this is it. The staff were exceptional. So caring and attentive. They helped us arrange a rental car with no problem. Love the welcome margarita when we arrived. The owner Mossimo was very kind and helpful. The food in the restaurant was wonderful. The pizzas we're very authentic and tasty.... More
