I've been meaning to write this review since January. I fully recommend this place. Tom who manages the place day to day could not do more to help and advice and make sure you have a fabulous trip. He was so accommodating (perfectly happy for us to skip into different rooms when better ones became available) and provided me with... More

right across the street from one of the prettiest beaches we've ever seen. tom and hugo are terrific--friendly and helpful in every way. ask hugo to cook dinner for you--it's delish! the hotel itself is beautifully constructed and maintained. the public spaces--shared outdoor kitchen, garden, and hammock lounge are delightful. we'd recommend las palmas maya without reservation.

I booked Las Palmas Maya based on the great reviews, but I wasn't 100% sure how we'd feel about not staying right on the beach, and in a place without food service onsite. As soon as we arrived, I totally understood all the great reviews, and if we make it back to Tulum I will DEFINITELY book LPM! LPM has... More

I have been meaning to write this review since my girlfriend and I stayed at LPM last October. It has to be one of the best places I have ever stayed and I seriously hope I get the chance to return one day. The place in beautifully constructed with recycled wood and the outdoor/indoor kitchen is amazing. We also thoroughly... More

This hotel was a true gem in Tulum. The rooms were beautiful and were cleaned to perfection each day. What really made this was the staff. Tom and Hugo were excellent. Friendly and profesional, they were full of advice regarding what to see and do and where to eat and drink. They happily helped to organise tours and transport and... More

We stayed here for three nights in June. It is located on the zona hotelera of Tulum about ten minutes drive down. In the zona hotelera there are places on the beach side of the road and places on the jungle side, and las palmas is on the jungle side. There are three parking spaces and the parking seemed very... Thank you so much for taking the time to give us your feedback! We do feel that LPM offers much value for the price, and the communal kitchen is a big part of that. It allows guests to save considerably on their overall dining budget, should they choose to use it. As energy efficient lighting continues to improve, we will... More

I stayed at LPM for 6 nights, and as all other reviews have mentioned, my stay was not only in a convenient location, safe, and comfortable, but met with the utmost hospitality from Tom and Hugo. Cheryl, one of the owners, while not on site, was also most helpful in pre-trip planning, answering all my questions completely and promptly. Those... More

We only had one night in Tulum, (unfortunate planning on our part), but LPM served as a perfect spot for our short stay. The room was clean and comfortable, the shower was great, and Tom was super helpful about where to go for dinner and snorkeling. OM, across the street, was a fantastic beach spot with great drinks.
