After a year of lots of work and private problems we are finally trying to catch up with some reviews corresponding summer 2013 in Mexico, in case you wonder why until now. Well, we followed reviews from other TripAdvisor members and booked 4 nights at Las Palmas Maya during our trip in Mexico covering the Tulum area, we had some... More

So glad that our location and amenities fit your needs while you explored the area and the glorious beaches. We stayed here for three nights in June. It is located on the zona hotelera of Tulum about ten minutes drive down. In the zona hotelera there are places on the beach side of the road and places on the jungle side, and las palmas is on the jungle side. There are three parking spaces and the parking seemed very... Thank you so much for taking the time to give us your feedback! We do feel that LPM offers much value for the price, and the communal kitchen is a big part of that. It allows guests to save considerably on their overall dining budget, should they choose to use it. As energy efficient lighting continues to improve, we will... More

I stayed at LPM for 6 nights, and as all other reviews have mentioned, my stay was not only in a convenient location, safe, and comfortable, but met with the utmost hospitality from Tom and Hugo. Cheryl, one of the owners, while not on site, was also most helpful in pre-trip planning, answering all my questions completely and promptly. Those... More

I was in Tulum June 4-10th and had an amazing time from the minute we got picked up at the airport by Memo (www.cancuninntransfersgb.com) who was suggest by the fantastic people at LPM! When we got to the hotel, Hugo came out to greet us and carried our suitcases upstairs for us, this was definitely a plus! He gave us... More

We only had one night in Tulum, (unfortunate planning on our part), but LPM served as a perfect spot for our short stay. The room was clean and comfortable, the shower was great, and Tom was super helpful about where to go for dinner and snorkeling. OM, across the street, was a fantastic beach spot with great drinks. This stretch... More

How do I start... prior to our vacation I spent many hours researching places to stay along the beach in Tulum. Wanting to so badly to take part in the revolution that is occurring in this part of Mexico I landed on Las Palmas Maya. LPM is on the road, not on the beach but is literally 30 seconds from... More

So happy that you and your family enjoyed your time at LPM! We do think our staff is top-notch and the best in all of Tulum. I agree...coffee is like oxygen...just have to have it. No Nescafe for us (not that it does not have it's admirers!). Glad you were able to make use of the communal kitchen and that... More

This place offers great value to guests. The communal kitchen allowed us to make our own breakfast and lunch, then head out for dinner. Although inexpensive by western standards, the prices on the beach front in Tulum are relatively expensive for Mexico. The communal area also allows guests and staff to interact in a relaxed atmosphere, the free coffee in... More

This is an amazing budget travel accommodation with five-star service. The price is right to be right across from the beach and seriously in the best area of the jungle road (it's walking distance from all of the great restaurants and quieter than the part that's closer to town). Tom was absolutely incredible as every other post here attests--before, during,... More

I have zero hesitation recommending Las Palmas Maya to friends, family, coworkers and strangers.
