Room was huge, with a lovely balcony for relaxing at the end of the day. Very clean bathroom, great air con. Hotel located very close to bus terminal so very handy for day trips. We didn't eat here but there are lots of excellent options close by. Very reasonably priced and much better value for money than beach places. Friendly... More

+ the hotel looks really pretty, has nice rooms with air conditioning and a cat on the checkin desk. The location near Tulum center is good and near the diving schools. - the guy in charge was grumpy.

Hard to find a good looking hotel in town that offers good value, but this is it! A block away from the ADO terminal, it's about a good as it gets location in town. We hired bikes to go to the beaches, the ruins, and the Grand Cenote, all within comfortable reach. The room was well equipped, especially with storage... More

This little hotel is attractive, clean, well located (given its in town -- not the beach) and fairly priced. The room was fine except for the very small bathroom -- hard to hang up a bathing suit to dry. There were a few quirks, but given the paucity of places in Tulum, a perfectly acceptable place to stay.

My partner and I spent a week at Maison Tulum. We only planned to stay two nights but extended our stay because we found the place was good and great value. We stayed in room1 which was spacious and quiet. There was roadwork when we arrived but it finished that day. The bakery downstairs serves a great breakfast and it's... More

We stayed in this hotel for 11 nights; wouldn't go anywhere else! -The hotel is very charming, atmosphere and interior is great! -Very clean (doesn't happen very often in the center of the village of tulum as it's very residential area comparing to the beach area) - probably best breakfast in town (with fresh baked pastries) - free wifi (in... In October 2014 we stayed for three nights at the Hotel Maison Tulum. It is a basic hotel with limited amenities, but has a traditional courtyard with nice tile work and water features in the public areas, very clean rooms and a rooftop terrace with hammocks. The rooms are cleaned daily, so you come back to a nice clean tidy... More

Traditional courtyard, nice tile work in public areas, and a rooftop area with hammocks. Clean. Ceiling fans. Nice restaurant on site. Small fridge. 2 blocks from shopping and restaurants. Aesthetically pleasing and inexpensive. Local neighborhood. Safe.Get a rental car.Public beaches a drive but taxi cheap to Grand Cenote and ruins. Public beaches are a hike or bike trip. We had... We had a great stay at Maison Tulum during our vacation! We opted to stay here for the week while going on a few different excursions in Tulum and the area. We used bikes from the property to ride around the city and to the beach. The owner and staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean and... More

Maison Tulum is located a couple of blocks from the bus station off of Tulum Ave. A very basic hotel with limited amenities. I usually don't mind staying at budget hotels in Mexican beach towns, but this hotel is miles away from the beach and it is very basic. Room #2 could use a little TLC. Bedding is not the... More
