This hotel is located a couple city blocks off the main street in Tulum. The room was OK and clean but the bed was hard and the A/C made so much noise that I was waking up all night to turn in on when i was sweaty and off to try to catch some sleep. If your looking for something... More

We stayed in March 2014 for three nights in Tulum. We were greeted by the owner, who was overwhelmed but welcoming. The hotel was quaint and lovely. Our room was simple but clean, bed was comfortable and A/C worked. The adjoining bakery/cafe was a great bonus for breakfast in the morning. Our breakfast here was far better than our beach... More

My fiance and I stayed here in July 2013. The hotel is really great. We thoroughly enjoyed our two nite stay. We had large room with A/C and TV. The hotel is convenient to the main road. The guy at the front is very helpful if you are looking for things to do.

Lovely little hotel in central Tulum. The decor was lovely and the restaurant was delicious. Renting a bike was easy, and the hotel manager was flexible about us moving rooms (we started with one king room, he was able to move us to a room with 2 beds). He was also flexible with us leaving our luggage at the hotel... More

Pros - Near the bus station, nice crisp bed sheets and 2 ceiling fans Cons - After all the good reviews I was expecting something better. We travelled around Mexico, Guatemala and Belize for 7 weeks so we aren't that fussy but this was one of the most disappointing places that we stayed. For the money the room was dull.... More

Our first night they put us in a room with an appalling bed, shower with no shower curtain (the bathroom completely flooded) and torn, holy, stained towels. The next morning the owner was apologetic and put us in the "penthouse" which had its own little balcony and a much nicer bed. The new room was quite an upgrade but there... More

Maybe it's not fair to review a hotel that just follows the best hotel I've ever been in, but the Maison Tulum was a bit of a disappointment. I paid extra for one of the "penthouses" with a "king bed," but the room was dark, didn't have a balcony as I thought, wasn't a proper suite, and the king bed... More

Overall my husband and I had a nice four day stay at Maison Tulum; the design and decor are charming, and the location couldn't be better for walking through Tulum (note you'll need a bike or taxi to get to the beach!). Unfortunately I didn't have a single full, sound night of sleep due to the uncomfortable bed, pillows, and... More

We stayed at Maison Tulum from January 7-13, 2014 and had a delightful experience. The hotel itself is small (I think only 8 rooms) and is located a couple blocks off the main street running through town. The location is excellent as it is roughly in the middle of town and is conveniently located just a block from the ADO... More

Our family of 4 stayed in 2 rooms at the Hotel Maison Tulum for 2 nights in late November 2013. We were really pleased with this pretty little hotel, which is 2 blocks off the main drag, in the center of the non-touristy part of the center of Tulum town. It was very safe there, and we felt very safe... More
