This hotel is quite crappy, It's difficult to find, the road to access it is full of holes and in a creepy alley. The bed had smelly sheets and bugs in it. The bathroom had no warm water. The water coming out in the bathroom was salty (probably sea water). Wifi was limited to the pool area. My wife was... More

I spent Christmas 2013 in this hotel and I loved it. The rooms or cabañas are beautiful with four poster beds and the gardens are amazing. Great swimming pool and a small bar in the gardens where to sip your mojito... Staff was friendly and helpful and we had some great meals. The big prawns in tequila sauce were delicious.... More

I stayed at the Green Tulum in late May 2014. I originally has booked another hotel, the eco-friendly Kankulum some ten miles away, but apparently that was being refurbished and I was redirected to this. Even then there was only a few visitors at the hotel and it was being run on a very skeleton basis. The location is difficult... More

This place has had some bad reviews but is under new ownership. There is air con in the rooms and the staff are amazing. Danny the concierge/receptionist/handyman/everything is a legend. He helps organise anything you want and cant be more helpful. He is one of the only english speakers there but that doesnt matter as the rest of the staff... More

My husband and I spent 3 nights at this unique gem of a hotel in Tulum. I can't say enough about the staff here. Everyone was so helpful, kind, and friendly. We couldn't ask for better service! From the helpful manager, Marco, the cook, Noami, and all the staff, including Danny and Manuel, everyone took care to make sure that... More

Spent there two nights and everything was perfect - beautiful cabana rooms with great decorations and hammocks in the porch, stunning garden with a pool and very helpful staff. Tulum is not a classic small compact town so everything is quite far - but beaches and ruins are reachable by bike which you can rent. The only unpleasant experience is... More

The staff were really helpful and friendly, despite the language barrier (the owner speaks excellent English). We enjoyed sitting on our terrace in the hammock and the free coffee, and the free coffee! Thanks for a great stay. We had a hire car so the location worked out really well, but if you are walking then you'll be making use... More

The hotel is located at the end of the town so not the closest to anything and the path to the hotel is in bad shape but when you finally get to the hotel it is truly amazing. It is so peaceful and lush with vegetation. The cabanas are ample and very clean. Everything is so cute and truly sustainable.... More
