Coco Tulum was amazing. The Cabañas are idyllic. The facilities are really clean plus there is free wifi. There are many restaurants within walking distance, breakfast at Playa was really good. A taxi to the airport was totally affordable

When you arrive at Coco Tulum you are in the postcard. Feels like you are the only one on the beach. This place is well located, next to all the restaurants and facilities but it s calm and quiet. The cabanas are on the beach, very clean and full of charm. The prices are the lowest that you can find... More

This was such a change compared to our typical breaks but it was equally one of the best holidays we have ever been on due to the simplicity and charm of it. Don't come here if you are looking for any mod cons etc. the huts are basic. A bed, a mozzie net, a table and a light. However, you... More

We stayed at Coco in mid-March. It was perfect for us (young budget-minded couple) and I can't imagine having gotten a better deal. We stayed in a garden cabana, which was still steps from the beach (I can't think of a reason to get a beach cabana unless staying here when it was hotter and there wasn't a breeze--but when... More

I came right after Hurricane Rina. Storm didn't do much and there was almost no one on their stretch of beach, it was picture picture perfect! Had a cabana right on the beach, fell asleep to the soothing waves of the Caribbean sea every night. Hammocks are the best, I laid out in the sun all day for 5 days,... More

I'll admit that this place might not be for everyone but my girlfriend and I loved it. We stayed in a garden cabana and I would actually recommend them over the beach front ones. They are easily the best value you will get in Tulum and are just so beautiful. Tulum is fairly windy all year long so we found... More

You won't find a better oceanfront location for the price...our cabana was literally steps from the beach. But it's basic, very basic. The room consisted of a bed and a table, a mosquito net, a shelving unit, and not much else. For not much money, the hotel could've provided extra touches like a small table fan (we baked in the... We made an advance reservation and stayed 2 nights. Here is what we liked and what we did not like: Liked: Felt Welcomed when we arrived - the check in was quick and painless and we were given a short tour (unfortunately I forgot the woman's name..) the other staff seemed fine Although our cabin was not "beachfront" it was... This place was just amazing. We arrived on the late side at night, and the beautifully landscaped sandy garden was just breathtaking by night with the circular lights and burning torches and incense. Tulum is a great destination, and Coco was perfect - charming, stylish and rustic, but with all the comfort of a fancier place. Everything is aesthetically pleasing... More

Stayed in Tower 1 in Nov 2011. (Note: since there isn't any A/C, Tower 1 has a small glitch - you want to leave the windows open to get a great breeze, but then everyone walking around can see directly into your room - and the windows don't have any screens.) Really kind staff, loved the location. Amazing deal for... More
