Avoid cabin 25, it smells really bad because it's near the bathrooms sewer or something like that. Even if you close the window the smell still remains. Everything else in this hotel is really nice. Bring mosquito repellent!!!!! (apply for any hotel in Tulum)

This was our first stop in Mexico. Getting there was easy, we took an ado bus from cancun to the bus stop in Tulum town. Then asked a cab driver to take us to Coco hotel. 90 pesos and 10-15 minutes later and we were there. The people in the reception are Nice and helpful. We stayed in the tower... More

Coco was our first stop for our Mexican Adventure. The pictures on the site honestly don't do it justice. The cabanas are bare bones but in an elegant and comfortable manner and are placed literally feet from the pristine beach. The showers and bathrooms were always kept clean and most importantly had hot water! The additional bonus of Coco is... More

Good value for the $. Nicely kept rooms w/ excellent WiFi. Great pizza in the hotel's restaurant. Cynthia aka "La Maestra de la Playa" was my concierge and is one of the best in town. God vibes all around..

We stayed at Coco's for three nights during a two week vacation in the Yucatan and overall it was a lovely stay. We arrived in Tulum with no reservations hoping to stay a the Posada Margerita next door following Lonely Planet's recommendation but when we got there, the rate was twice as high as expected... They told us there that... More

We stayed there for a weekend and was one of the best experiences I've had in the Caribbean. The huts are awesome, they are all connected by little cute paths of white sand within a beautiful garden of tropical plants and trees. It felt like living in a small community in the middle of a desert island - Its very... More

A friend of mine got married last weekend at Coco and we had a blast!!!! I've stayed at Coco previously so I knew what to expect as far as shared bathrooms and the simplicity of the rooms (which I love). We stayed in cabana 20 (ocean view, garden area, second floor) and it was great! I liked being sort of... More

So, it's just like it looks in the pictures. It's gorgeous and the huts are cute. All those warnings about how hot it is and how intense the bugs are and the fact that you get sand everywhere- all true and, yes, we know it's the beach and we go because it's hot and we know bugs exist and that... We stayed here for a couple of days before our wedding weekend at Coco's sister hotel, Playa Azul. We had considered actually having our wedding here, but some of our friends/family were weird about shared bathrooms (these are for cabanas only, towers are private bath) so we opted for the big sister hotel for the big day, and stayed at... My friends in Tulum have been telling me about Carlos; the best massage therapist in town, who works at Playa Azul and Coco Tulum. Now that Coco Tulum just opened a new Spa this was the perfect timing to try it out for myself. I had a Holistic Massage by Carlos and would recommend it to everyone. Carlos has the... More
