Small rooms and no bathroom, but a good price for a hut on the beach. I was worried about sharing a bathroom, but I was usually the only one in there along with the cleaning staff. Sometimes it was a man & women in there cleaning, but I didn't care. Very clean bathrooms/showers. I did not like the service at... More

I haven't been so relaxed since I was a little kid. Just a beautiful place and experience. The shared bath and shower area were spotless. The sounds of the ocean had me sleeping like a baby. We were in Cabana 5, just steps from the ocean. We can't wait to visit again.

Stayed in Coco Tulum for 4 nights in May 2015 on holidays. The place is unique, well-designed, in front of the beach and all its "cabanas" have s great space and ammenities. The place pledges for sustainability and so it inclides eolic and solar power and common bathroom, which by instance it is not the usual US park common bathroom... More

There aren't too many hotels where you can kick off your shoes during your check in. This place is so cute and so comfy. I was a little concerned about the cabins not having their own bathrooms but once there it really didn't matter. Our little cabin had a king size bed with mosquito netting (which is a dire necessity),... More

We had a cabin facing the beach which was beautiful. The bed was nice, the place is clean and the staff is friendly. But we felt like we paid way too much. There is no closet to store your luggage (so it's on the floor which is quickly very sandy), the musqueeto net is too small and has holes in... More

Dear guest, First of all, we appreciate the time taken to share your valuable comments. Coco Tulum's concept is meant to take you back to Tulum in the old days, with a minimalistic design and an ecofriendly identity. We have very competitive prices compared to other establishments in the area, below 200USD, which nowadays in Tulum is almost impossible to... More

+: nice clean cabin with small individual terrace. Loved the outside showers. Beach is very nice, and the restaurants serves right on your mattress. -: we chose the cheapest option ( although really not cheap, but it's the price in tulum) so no private bathroom. Service at restaurant quite poor, very slow and not very friendly.

From the moment we checked in, we kicked off our shoes and let the powdery white sand of Tulum beach massage our feet. It was a time to indulge and pamper ourselves, taking advantage of the offerings that the onsite spa provided. Perfect place to fall in love again walking on the endless beach under the stars.

I will start off by saying this, if you are looking for the mega-resort, all-inclusive, typical vacation then this isn't for you. Tulum overall probably isn't for you. Tulum is a quaint, beach side town that is about small, eco-friendly boutique hotels. Think minimalist living in paradise and you have Tulum. Coco Tulum is a cabana style hotel, with 20-something... If you like roughing it a bit and "camping out" on the beach, you'll think this place is great. If you're more inclined towards modern amenities, cleanliness, private bathrooms, etc. you probably shouldn't stay here. It's cool in pictures and in concept, but actually living here for more than one night gets old fast. Two more things: 1. The staff... More

Dear Guest, Coco Tulum's concept is very much like Tulum in the old days... cabana on the beach with a minimalist design. Foremost cleanliness and comfort are in our top priorities, let alone customer service. I am very sorry to read you didn't feel that way during your recent visit. I have already extended your comments to our entire staff,... More

Coco Tulum was exactly what I was looking for when I came to Tulum. It's spartan, but not austere. I stayed in a cabana on the beach and it was wonderful--very comfortable bed, and the sound of the ocean is so calming. . As others have said, the communal bathrooms are very clean--at least 1/3 of the time I went... More
