We (Petra&Wolfgang) stayed 5 nights in Xibalba .... and this was too short. The hotel and diving school managed by Robby and Richie were the best place you can imagine for cenote diving in Tulum. The outstanding qualtiy of the diving school and (particular thanks to the guides Dante and Heira (not sure about right spelling) the private atmoshere made... More

Richie greeted us warmly on arrival and gave us the tour of the hotel. The facilities are excellent, the rooms and beds spacious, and the breakfast on the upper terrace marvelous. Because the hotel caters for the diving fraternity it is certainly geared for these customers, however this hotel is ideal for anyone visiting Tulum. It is close to main... More

Very friendly, and casual, small hotel. Breakfast was continental with eggs cooked by Anna, any way you wanted. Nothing was too much trouble. Even made us teas when we required throughout the day and did our washing.

We really enjoyed our stay at Xibalba in December. The room was immaculate and the owner made us feel very safe and taken care of. My kids loved the owner (one of two brothers who run the dive shop). He gave us lots of advice on local sights and was extremely gracious. The rooms are very spacious and contain two... More

Me and my wife stayed in Xibalba for a week and enjoyed every day. The breakfast was wonderful (everyday) thanks to the staff who are always ready to please and are willing to assist in any way. We had a lot of questions about tulum before we reached there and thanks to Richie, he promptly answered all our queries via... More

From the moment we steppet foot in Xibilba, we were pleased with our choice. We arrived quite late on a tuesday, and was welcomed by Hairo, one of the wonderful persons working on Xibalba. The reception is usually open between 8 am and 7 pm, but we had given a notice abaout our late arrival, so it was no problem.... More

Let me start off by saying that this is a review of the dive center and not the hotel. That said since it is in the property here we go. We arranged to dive the cenote Angelita. We arrived and filled out our forms, no one asked us for our certification, no one verified if we were advanced divers or... More

I like so much the place and the people there that is hard to put in words how glad i am to know them. The Hotel is great, the dive center amazing... And now, after my 3rd. time there in 1 year i'm not sure if i call them staff or friends. Robbie, Richie, Hairo, Tomaz, Ana... Everybody! Thank you... More

Spent 7 incredible nights cenote dive trip to Tulum with Xibalba Dive Center. Robbie & Richie run a great dive shop true experts in every sense. The caverns were out of this world, gliding through crystal clear water and passages decked out with pristine stalactites, as well as through thick haloclines and hydrogen sulfate clouds in deep pit cenotes. With... More

Our family stayed for 4 days. The location is 1 block from the main road though Tulum and 2 blocks from the road to the beach where you can rent bikes. We rented bikes one day and went to the ruins only a couple kilometers away. The rooms are very spacious and well kept. The morning breakfast is plentiful with... More
