We slept well during our two night stay. Bathroom mirror wasn't well lit so it was a challenging shave. Water pressure in shower was low. Staff was friendly and helpful. Lorie thought this place deserved a 6 or 7 on our sliding scale - I'm 50/50 on this property. It was a good value. I wasn't crazy about the location.

We stayed at the Secret Garden on Jan 27-30. The location is very good with walking access to all types of transportation, restaurants, bike rentals (highly recommend for Tulum), etc. It is a "collectivo" away from the beach. The staff are terrific in all aspects --- too many to mention! In addition to that they are sociable and care about... More

Couldn't fault the room and lovely outside garden area. My only complaint was the reception roof having work carried out until 10.30pm at night, it was a bit noisy. Staff were friendly and helpful, I would definitely stay again.

We loved our stay at Secret Garden. Our room was lovely with nice cool air conditioning. The garden outside is so peaceful and pretty and perfect for reading or going on the internet any time of day. Chirping birds keep the guests company. Street noise is minimal, and when we were there the other guests (from all over the world)... More

Convenient location, nice leafy courtyard, peaceful simple breakfast. Not easy to find unless you have a map. A quiet nice place to retreat to after a day of sight-seeing or lazying around the beach. A bit pricey perhaps but with a reassuring 'European feel' to it.

We stayed at The Secret Garden in Tulum for one night. It was very peaceful, excellent wi-fi and great ambience (there was some beautiful smelling incense lit in our room). It is very quiet (we needed a good night rest) and just a 5 minute walk to great restaurants/cafes. There is a bike store a block or two away -... More

We stayed at the Secret Garden Hotel for two nights. The hotel is located near the center in a quiet street. The hotell has a nice garden, wifi worked well, nice staff, a very affordable hotel. In summary, we would stay here if we are coming back to Tulum and recommend others to stay here.

We liked everything there. Our room was just perfect. the garden was like a paradise, but the best thing in a Secret Garden Hotel were the Staff - all of them were so nice and helpfull, but I have to mention here incredibile Maura who gave us best recommendations and made our staying in Tulum unfogettable. And not to forget... More

We had a wonderful time at the Secret Garden in Tulum! It is perfectly located on a side street in the heart of town, so we both enjoyed a quiet experience tucked away in our little garden and could also walk around the corner and find ourselves on the main drag of this great town! The staff was incredibly helpful,... More

I stayed 2 nights at this place. Room is cozy and clean, people were nice . They gave us any information which I need. Location : Near by main street , we could go every where on foot. Just be careful for mosquito.
