This isn't the fanciest hotel you'll ever go to but it is certainly value for money. The hotel staff were very helpful and gave us great tips about Tulum and the surrounds. The rooms are cool bungalow style huts and the gardens outside are a nice place to hang out. We found the room a bit too stuffy but it... More

We stayed in Secret Garden for 2 nights and we love it. The staff are very friendly, the owner Joshua was extremely helpful and gave us priceless tips. It's really a secret place, not noisy and beautiful. It's far from the beach but it wasn't problem for us, because you have many bus going there. It's located in the city... More

We loved our stay in the Secret Garden. This was our first stop in our 5 week trip through Central America and we couldn't have found anywhere better. Firstly, the location is excellent and a preferably choice than staying at the beach (where a lot of the Eco Resorts have no electric at night). The ADO bus station is around... More

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights when we visited Tulum and I don't regret the choice. It is a bit far away from the beach but this is the price to have a secret garden at adeguate price in Tulum. The owner (Joshua) is really nice and gave us many tips.

We stayed here for two nights while visiting Tulum, lovely peaceful retreat, friendly, helpful staff and free tea and coffee all day and a fridge and cooker in our bungalow. The garden was a relaxing place to sit and read or have a drink. A very enjoyable stay.

Tulum is a very pretty and expensive place, and to my surprise accommodations in the town are also expensive. I came across the Secret Garden when I was about to book something else and I didn't regret my decision. The price we paid was very competitive for Tulum. Alex gave us lots of useful information, lent us towels for the... More

Stayed here with my girlfriend. Rooms were very nice and the outside garden was wonderful. A great place to relax, read and talk. They also gave unlimited coffee, biscuits and fruit. Staff were very good. Accidentally poured bleach on a pair of my shorts and refunded me a day of the stay. The shorts were definitely more expensive than one... More

It was a very wonderful place and the staff was very friendly (they helped us to get around, planning tours, etc.). In the morning we could drink coffee for free. We enjoyed the nights there and can recommend the secret garden inn.

The hotel is located a two minute walk from the main street in tulum town close to the bus station as well as a great selection of restaurants, cafes and bars. The hotel itself is comfy, clean worth a chilled out atmosphere and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The... More
