I stayed in Pez in April/May this year and loved it. It was an isle of calm amidst swine flu madness (of which I saw NO evidence). Pez is well located between a little village (restaurants, really cute & funky little shops) and one of the longest, widest and most amazing beaches I've ever seen in my life. The staff,... more

Praise: - The premises are clean and new. - The interior decoration is stylish. - Breakfast was delicious and we could order everything we wanted. We requested corn tortillas (which they oddly didn't have) and they provided them the next day. - The lobby is beautiful with a soaring palapa-style roof . - The view of the rocky shoreline and... more

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Pez for 2 weeks. This tiny 6 room hotel has something so special about it, I instantly felt connected to it somehow. The rooms are clean and freshly decorated, just the right size, and right on the beach. I opened my eyes each morning and saw the ocean at my feet, the... more

This hotel is stunning in an amazing location with its own beach, which hosts some spectacular wildlife displays of pelican diving every morning which we sat on our balcony and enjoyed every morning, the lay out of the hotel is intimate yet still has a grand feel, with a huge beutiful palapa roof in the eating area, our room was... more

My fiance (now husband) and I went to Tulum from April 1-7 with our friends and family. We stayed at Pez and got married at La Zebra (Pez's sister hotel). Pez is a truly beautiful hotel and was just what we were looking for. We went to Tulum because we wanted to avoid the huge-mega-all-inclusive resorts- we wanted something small,... more

My husband and I stayed at PEZ Ocean Palace March 11-18. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the Manager, Adrianna, who speaks very good English and is one of the nicest young ladies you will ever meet. She got us checked in while our bags were carried up to our room. After check-in, one of the staff showed us to... more

We just returned from Tulum and our 6 night stay at Pez. Here's the deal - it's overall a really nice place, the people were so warm, efficient, friendly and the food was great! However - I feel I need to warn potential travellers about a few things. There are probably only two rooms that are worth staying in because... more

We just stopped in at Pez after seeing the happy hour sign. While it was a bit misleading (only one drink was on special), our cocktails were great, and views are not to be beat. more

My boyfriend and I stayed at Pez for a week in January. Location-wise, it didn't disappoint - the whole stretch of beach around Tulum is perfect, and Pez is located on its own at the edge of a pretty bay where you can watch pelicans diving for their fish. So the views (especially from the rooms on the 2nd floor)... more

My husband and I stayed at the Ocean Pez for four nights over Christmas week 2008. The hotel is extremely well-kept, stylish, very new (I think it opened in November 2008), and in a beautiful setting (although the setting of all of the hotels in Tulum are beautiful). We stayed on the second floor, looking directly out over the beach.... more
