My husband and I just spent 3 relaxing nights at El Pez.The rooms are comfortable, the over bed airconditioning 'sheet' amazing and the ocean views and breeze makes the balcony a lovely spot to relax. The staff are welcoming and helpful and we'd recommend this hotel for a visit to Tulum to anyone

We had a wonderful 4 nights at El Pez last week. The staff was extremely accomadating and friendly. They went out of their way to make sure that we had a comfortable stay. On our first night, due to some unexpected maintenance in the kitchen, we were upgraded to another room because our room shared a wall with the kitchen.... More

Stayed at El Pez for. 5 nights then extended for another 3 nights. We couldn't get enough of the place. The staff were amazing, the accommodation was impeccable and the view to die for. We couldn't fault the place at all. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting tulum. Wish we could have stayed longer. It is right on the... More

My wife, ten year old daughter and I spent two wonderful nights at El Pez last week. The staff (Edouardo, Lina, and Orfe in particular) were gracious, friendly and helpful in every way. The room itself (Luxury Cabana, $232/night on special) is simple and spare but clean and well designed - the in room safe is a nice touch. Despite... More

We traveled to Tulum for wedding. Mexico is not our preffered destination; we are spoiled with opportunities to travel to Bali, Fiji, Maldives, and others. Expectations were low. And what a pleasant and unexpected surprise! Place is great. Staff is fantastic! Marianna, Lina, Eduardo were accommodating, helpful, and genuinely nice! Marco and other restaurant staff was fantastic! We wanted nice... More

I completely loved this gem of a place, and agree with all the other positive reviews 100%. I decided to start my trip off by indulging myself for a few days here, and was not disappointed at all. The staff were fantastic: From the moment I walked in; everyone I came in contact with was great; Orfe, Jose, Eduardo, Lina,... More

We arrived at el pez and the moment we arrived we felt right at home. Our luggage was taken to our cabana as we were offered a drink. During our stay, we felt so welcome and the service was excellent, the rooms were clean, large bed and beautiful view over Turtle Cove. Although there were a lot of rocks in... More

To start I missed my flight outta tijuana and had to drop $900 to get another flight all the while with my 6 year old at 1:40 in the morning. After landing I made the grave mistake of attempting a bus ride to save money. Don't! Time is everything I lost three hours. After arriving to a different location I... More
