My husband and I recently spent 5 happy nights with our two daughters (ages 11 and 13) at the very charming and intimate El Pez Hotel in Tulum. Upon our arrival, we were greeted warmly by hotel staff with a complimentary drink in the restaurant/bar/lobby - a lovely large space with soaring thatched roof and huge windows with panoramic ocean... A magical and very relaxing place! My wife and I and our 2 year old daughter stayed for 6 nights in February 2015 in the ground floor of Beach House 1. The setting is beautiful - watching the sunrise from our patio with our coffee to the sound of the crashing waves and the diving pelicans was amazing! The setting... More

We just came back from an amazing stay in Tulum at the wonderful El Pez. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel completely at home and welcomed with a very tasty complimentary cocktail. The following day we had a fantastic brunch on the terrace overlooking the bay and the pelicans! All the staff were brilliant - from... More

Turtle Cove is absolutely beautiful! It's rocky but the sound of the waves is mesmerizing. The main part of the hotel has the restaurant (delicious). There are three rooms in the main part - 2 with a balcony overlooking the ocean and the third with a deck and view of the pool. Beach house 1 has 3 bedrooms including a... More

We only stayed two nights but loved the hotel. We were in a luxury cabana and loved waking up to the sound of the waves. The breakfast was delicious - fresh fruit with yogurt and granola, the chilaquiles, the bread and marmalade. Loved it all. The staff was great and very helpful with recommendations. It is also located very conveniently... More

We stayed at El Pez for 5 nights and took Beach House 2 which has 5 bedrooms and a large communal area. The house was perfect for our group of couples and singles and gave us plenty of private space but a great sized kitchen and living area and our own private beach area. Each of the rooms are charmingly... More

El Pez Tulum is a beautiful boutique hotel with great staff, scenic location, good hotel restaurant. We cannot wait to return and might even plan a group trip with friends and fam. Tulum is a rustic charming town, away from the glitz of Cancun and PDC which we highly prefer for some R&R. Thank you for a memorable stay!!

We have just returned from our stay at El Pez in a sea front king room and were so sad to leave. Sorry this is going to be a detailed review...but are things I wondered about before we booked! It took around 1 hour 20 minutes from the airport and we arrived early in the morning so although our room... More

We came for a wedding late February 2015. We had room 10, which was the top floor of a cabana, with a beautiful view of the ocean. It was just a few yards from the beach. the décor was simple but tasteful. There was a comfortable queen-sized bed for me and my husband and a day bed for our daughter... More

I hardly know where to start to explain just how fabulous our wedding was at El Pez last week. We rented out both of the beach houses for 5 nights (a requirement to hold a wedding, houses up to 20 people and we had 18). Having both beach houses, while an investment, turned out to be a great value and... More
