My husband and I stayed here 2 years ago and had the most wonderful time. The staff was so helpful and friendly, the food was delicious ( get the ceviche) and the views from our room were unmatched. We cannot wait to return!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at El Pez. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and spacious, and the location was right on the beach. They had plenty of chairs for laying out with umbrellas and access to a public beach that had lots of space for playing outdoor games. The hotel even had a spikeball set... More

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful visit at El Pez. We were greeted with a tasty welcome drink and shown to our room by the hospitable staff. The room was very calming and was complete with a hammock on the balcony. We really enjoyed having the coffee basket delivered to the room in the morning. This was a very... More

We stayed at El Pez for 3 nights in Casa 2 (beachfront cabana) and were more than pleased with our stay. The hotel and restaurant staff are great- extremely helpful and fun to chat with. The hotel itself is beautiful! It's clean, comfortable and very relaxing. Chic and rustic at the same time. The restaurant also had good food and... More

Booked El Pez at the last minute after reading shocking reviews for Papaya Playa down the beach (could only cancel half our trip though, have left a review there as well) and am so glad that I did. Firstly - they were incrdibly helpful. We were delayed for 13 hours in Havana ariport but the one of the concierge's Mariana... More

We decided to visit the east side of Mexico as we have spent decades going to Cabo San Lucas, etc.! What a difference...balmy, breezy and with a bohemian charm. A shuttle coordinated thru the hotel concierge, Lina, picked us up at the Cancun airport. We recommend not renting a car as taxis are plentiful and very inexpensive. El Pez is... More

My husband and I stayed at El Pez for 5 nights in March 2015. Our stay was perfect from beginning to end! The hotel is at the perfect location, directly on the beach and in a cove away from the busier main hotel strip in Tulum. The grounds were well maintained (much cleaner than many other beaches we saw), and... More

This is a perfect place for a beach getaway: beautiful, quiet and comfortable. It's as nice as a beach hut could possibly get. And I say that to give a warning to anyone who might be expecting hotel standards - often, when you pay a lot of money for holiday accommodation, the value comes from the relaxation of having every... We recently stayed at El Pez for three nights, the staff welcomed us from the moment we arrived, with a wonderful drink in the terrace overlooking the beach. We had a wonderful experience, relaxing, the rooms in the cabanas were clean and comfortable and location was amazing as just next to the sea. While the hotel was great with children,... More

Hotel was gorgeous, comfortable and fantastic, quite place to have rest and to enjoy the long beach front (special thank for the staff cleaning the beach each morning). The restaurant proposes a good and stunning variety, but my favorite dish was of course the fish of the day, always with margarita. Elpez is very well maintained and staff was very... More
