When we stayed Christmas 2013 it was very economical and well worth the money. I think they might have bumped up their rates? Location 1 block off of the main thoroughfare is convenient and quite. Staff was very nice. Room was clean and comfy and opened onto a beautiful interior courtyard. A bonus was the little yoga studio around the... More

This was my third cave diving trip to Tulum and I've found the perfect place to stay, Hotel Posada 06 Tulum. Spacious, clean, modern and the best front desk staff I've seen in Mexico. It's close to everything, the dive shop, cenotes, downtown Tulum and the ruins. Sadly, I'm only staying thirteen days this trip but I know I'll be... More

Nices receptionists ever. My room was big and I had access to 2 beautiful terrass on 2nd floor. Pick room 7 if available. One of the receptionist sales his homemade hamacs. Ask! I got mine from him. Next to everything you need. Rent a bike! You are at 10 minutes from Tulum ruins and 15 from the beach and gran... More

If there are nicer people out there running hotels I don't know them. From Alex on the desk to the room maids we were most impressed with their hospitality. The hotel is very cute located perfectly on the north side of town a block away from the restaurants and two blocks from the road to the beach. While we were... More

This stuccoed place looks a little flint stones with its formed couches and bed fittings that are part of the structure. Quiet location near some great restaurants and sources of bottled water. It's in the town so a fair way from the beach (but you can't have it both ways in tulum!) but there are cheap bike rentals if you... More

We liked this place. Took a bit to find given that it is very close to the main drag but that probably reflects our incompetence more than anything else. Nice room, clean basic, hard bed but felt like a nice spot and cute little pool ideal for refreshing yourself after a day of exploring. Location was great close to shops... More

This hotel is very nice located in a bit of a rundown part so it sticks out a bit, but still very close to the main road which has the shops, and places to eat. There is know breakfast here, but a short walk you can find good places to eat. The hotel offers bike hire which I recommend. It's... More

First, the pictures on the website make this loom like a lovely spot. It it not. The neighborhood is sketchy. The road is unpaved. I didn't like walking outside after dark. The bed was hard and uneven. The sheets were scratchy. The couch was cement with thin cushions. There were roaches, one of which crawled across the sheets when I... More

Good location for eating out at night, a lot of choice within 3 minutes walk. Rooms were clean and basic. Staff were very helpful and came to fix ceiling fanand broken toilet seat immediately. Their website gives the impression that it would be a bit special but it doesn't really match up. No one went in the swimming 'pond' in... More

We stayed at this hotel during our honeymoon. It was as one would expect in a two star hotel. The room was clean, but far more humid than outside, and there was hardly any hot water. Breakfast is not included (charged at 9 pesos per person), and the location is a bit questionable. Alex and the rest of the staff... More

Our hotel has just been finished (2008). It is built in Mexican style and has 12 comfortable rooms with a patio or a terrace on two floors. The swimming pool area includes a hydro massage section and two big terraces for sunbathing or relaxing. The hotel is situated in a quiet but central part of Tulum.
