My husband and I stayed with our two boys (18 & 8) for 10 nights this August. We wanted a place with a home-like feel with a good, safe environment for our sons. In addition we were searching for a place that would give us access to Yucatan and the greater Tulum area. We had a rental car so parking... More

We stayed here for 3 nights. We were initially greeted by very friendly Alex who checked us in and gave us some good recommendations for where to eat and what to do. During our stay Alex was always friendly and helpful and made the stay very pleasant. Alex booked a tour for us with Space for Snorkel, to swim with... More

For our two night stay in Tulum, my friend Paul & I picked Posada 06 as our hotel. Our room had two comfortable beds, a mini fridge, a balcony overlooking the garden & pool, a safe, and a tv, among other normal hotel things. The AC and fan kept the room very comfortable, and the overall look of the room... More

Pros: Friendly and excellent staff Centrally located Clean bathrooms Morning coffee Good water pressure Cons: Ants (on wall and in bed) Pool.... Not really. More like a tiled trench. I could step over the pool from one side to the other Not in a pleasant neighborhood. Nicest people! I promise, but concerning at first sight. Spotty Wi-Fi Free breakfast is... More

Room was spacious, clean, and very well air conditioned! (a plus in this weather!). Decent wifi. Enjoyed our own balcony and communal roof top area. The gentleman who runs the from desk is absolutely adorable and very eager to serve all his guests. I got in a motorbike accident and he rushed to share his first aid kit. Very sweet... More

Quaint hotel in the city/town of Tulum. Great price, very pleasant staff, clean, air conditioned rooms, and a small breakfast is included. Went on vacation with 3 teens and they loved the hotel and the area. We strongly recommend this hotel.

We arrived in the pouring rain after a 2.5 hour bus ride from cancun. The staff were really nice and showed us to our adorable room. The hotel is small and the courtyard area in the middle has a chasing pool. It is a nice place from which to explore tulum. We debated hard on whether to stay on the... More

Sure, this place might not have all the bells and whistles of a tulum beachside resort, but it's the perfect place to stay if you want to be in Tulum town/city. Tulum is really separated into two parts: Tulum city and Tulum beach. Tulum city is where more of the locals are, it's a more off the beaten path, artisan,... More

Just returned from this wonderful hotel. Quaint, welcoming, and quiet are apt terms for this 12-room hotel. We used this as a home base while we explored the lower peninsula for 10 days. It was quite secure and clean. The staff were warm and friendly. I would return gladly and recommend this hotel.

Hotel Posada 06 Tulum is an enchanted oasis in nestled in Never-Never land. To understand Tulum, you should be aware that Tulum is essentially split into two parts. There is “downtown”, which is on the main road, and then there is an eclectic collection of hotels on the “beach strip”. If what you are looking for is a pure beach... More
