We got quoted on a price, and when we arrived to check into our hotel they added additional charges. The staff was rude and believe she was stoned on some type of drugs. When we talked to the owner, she was hesitant to give us our money back. It was a horrible way to start our vacation. Avoid this place

This is a small, boutique hotel that is very well run and worth finding (it's slightly hidden from the main drag). It's a private little paradise that we enjoyed spending time at with a surprisingly large pool, contemporary design and personalized service. It's a bike ride away from the center of town in one direction and two cenotes in the... More

we went to Tulum without a solid plan of what to do. when we got to the hotel the receptionist gave us the most ideal locations of where to go. the room was beautiful and well kept. you get a free continental breakfast in the morning and for a little extra you can place an order with the chef to... This is a small place with only 6 rooms (& 2 more are being built) and that's what we loved about it. It's like having the whole place to ourselves. The room deco is minimalistic, no Tv but we never watched TV during our 1 week trip anyway. Room is spacious even with our own crib set up. For ppl... More

My three friends and I stayed at Villas H2O for a total of three nights and left with very mixed feelings about this hotel. Overall, I would not recommend it if you are travelling with friends and want quick/convenient access to the beach, food/drink and night life options. However, if you are travelling with family or have a car, and... More

Recently we needed to stay just one night in Tulum Pueblo. Most hotels in town require a two or three night minimum. Since we had stayed here a couple of years ago, we decided to return. While the place is a bit off the main street, and the dirt streets leading to the location are in very rough shape to... More

We stayed here for a night when we couldn't get a room on the beach. Pepe, the owner was really nice and helpful and has created a little oasis in Tulum pueblo. The rooms are spacious and quaint. I will say it was difficult to find the hotel, the roads are not really marked and the neighborhood is still be... More

My daughter and I stayed for a week here. We like being away from the tourist areas so for us it was great. We liked walking into town and did so even at night. The road is horrible but short. We also liked taking the Collectivo (public bus) to other locations. We liked the beach at Akumal with the turtles... More

This is a decent, basic hotel. The owner was extremely helpful with tips on where to eat, places to park at different sites (to avoid paying additional parking fees), sites to see that aren't on the tourist circuit, and dive spots. The room was clean albeit relatively basic and the breakfast was decent. It's a good option if you are... More
