My three friends and I stayed at Villas H2O for a total of three nights and left with very mixed feelings about this hotel. Overall, I would not recommend it if you are travelling with friends and want quick/convenient access to the beach, food/drink and night life options. However, if you are travelling with family or have a car, and... More

Recently we needed to stay just one night in Tulum Pueblo. Most hotels in town require a two or three night minimum. Since we had stayed here a couple of years ago, we decided to return. While the place is a bit off the main street, and the dirt streets leading to the location are in very rough shape to... More

We stayed here for a night when we couldn't get a room on the beach. Pepe, the owner was really nice and helpful and has created a little oasis in Tulum pueblo. The rooms are spacious and quaint. I will say it was difficult to find the hotel, the roads are not really marked and the neighborhood is still be... More

My daughter and I stayed for a week here. We like being away from the tourist areas so for us it was great. We liked walking into town and did so even at night. The road is horrible but short. We also liked taking the Collectivo (public bus) to other locations. We liked the beach at Akumal with the turtles... More

This is a decent, basic hotel. The owner was extremely helpful with tips on where to eat, places to park at different sites (to avoid paying additional parking fees), sites to see that aren't on the tourist circuit, and dive spots. The room was clean albeit relatively basic and the breakfast was decent. It's a good option if you are... More

We stayed there 4 nights. We found the hotel was clean and well maintained. Yes, there was a smell of mold in the room but it was rainy and in the tropics this smell is usual and almost unavoidable. The room was wide and clean. The WiFi in the room did not work well but in the breakfast area was... More

Musty room. Not cleaned thoroughly. No running water for shower! Dangerous local road can damage car. Hard to find location. Do not attempt to find at night. Few taxis can find property. Room is slab cement floor and cinder block walls. No amenities in room. No TV, clock, iron and ironing board, no tissue paper, dim lighting, just a single... More

Stayed at the H2O villa hotel last week and were very disapointed. Terrible odor of mould in the room including mold over the walls and floor. Poorly maintained property. Was rated 8.3 on Trip Advisor, more like a 3.8 at best. We told the reception person of wanting to leave early because of the smell, they agreed and refunded us... More

I stayed here for the second time this December and absolutely love the place. Well lit, clean rooms, with great bedding and nice balcony's, and also quiet and relaxing. The hotel was almost full but the walls are solid and the layout means you don;t hear much noise/traffic. There must have been some 'Feng Shui' taken into account with the... More

We had a very good time at H2O. Hotel is very new. I have to say it seems more bed and breakfast style than a traditional hotel. Rooms are simple but with comfortable beds, very spacious, nice bathroom. The hotel has also a common area in the garden, very nice, and a great swimming pool. The atmosphere is very good.... More
