Holy great time batman. I have never slept so close to such a beautiful serene beach in my life. The views were breathtaking and it was never crowded, did I mention I was there dec. 20th through the 24th yeah it was short but so very memorable and isn't it supposed to be crowded at Christmas? Well it wasn't I... More

I have been fortunate to experience this little sanctuary for a good long month . I was able to really get to know the staff , Antonio and Gadhi served me coconuts the whole time sometimes twice a day , and with a smile ..I wasn't really savvy with spanish , but we laughed and they made me feel comfortable... A few steps off the beaten path is a perfect spot in the sun. My family and I had an amazing vacation at Casa de Olas in Tulum. The hotel is right on the beach with big, comfy rooms. We got there late and I was overwhelmed by the sound of the waves crashing. It was ethereal. Best sleep ever.... More

It's not often that within 15 minutes of arriving you're being whisked off for sunset margaritas overlooking one of the world's most exquisite nature reserves, and then to for a fine meal on the local strip with the other guests. This doesn't always happen we're told, but we have no doubt other visitors have had as special an experience as... More

I found myself right at home at Casa de Las Olas. From the moment we were welcomed in by the friendly owner Jimmy, who's motto is "come as a guest, leave as a guest" really makes true on that promise. The rooms were ample and the variety is great when you have your pick. We rented the entire house for... More

it s a perfect place to be away from turism during the high seasson in the Mayan Riviera , been in a virgin nature with all the nice acomodations. Don t live "Casa las Olas " without having a great massage from the couple of therapists : Jolanda and Rodolfo . We really feeled at home in a beautiful piece... More

If the Incas are right, I'll spend my last days on this beach!! Went back in early December and all was even better than last year. No place better. More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 days for a quick break from the hustle and bustle of New York. We wished we had a few more. Casa de las Olas is the perfect way to enjoy the Yucatan for anyone who (like me) is petrified of the bad food and cookie-cutter, soul-less experience that large resorts offer --... More

My wife and I simply loved this place. Owner and staff are very friendly and discreet. It is beautiful and set on a deserted part of Tulum beach. Beach and water is beautiful (although the adjacent beach area outside property limits, should be cleaned of plastic debris) More

Thanks to Jimmy and his amazing staff, our first few days as a married couple were outstanding. We enjoyed comfortable and clean accommodations that provided the perfect way to unwind and relax. We listened 24/7 to the sound of the waves just a few yards away and spent countless hours virtually secluded on the beach. The weather was perfect, the... More
