We achieved that rare event Teen contentment.Facilities were basic but hey we stayed on the beach not in our rooms...which the kids thought were cool " Gilligan's Island with electricity." At a glance the rooms look ok but under closer inspection the beds are made out of wooden crates and have old cheap mattresses with dirty looking bottoms and top sheets. My wife and I found Cabanas Playa Condesa by walking down the road after seeing the Tulum ruins and asking every single hotel and cabana for a price and a peak.
