We just returned from the Valentin yesterday, and considering the wealth of info I received from this website, I feel obligated to submit a review. This is our first trip to the Riviera Maya so I have nothing to compare my experiences with. Keep this in mind. I did send my son & wife on their honeymoon to Secrets Capri... more

We stayed from June 19th to the 28th and from the moment we got there we were just in awe. The grounds are immaculate, the food is superb, and the staff will do anything to make you happy. The rooms are beautiful, and the beach is so clear and clean. The restaurants were excellent and again, the staff, waiters, bartenders,concierge,... more

We had to laugh when we first arrived and went to lunch at the beachside restaurant. My husband asked what beers were available and the waiter said, "Coors Light and Two Xes." He ordered the Dos Equis. Not all of the employees have the same skills with English but they all try very hard and are extremely professional. I can't... more

Nothing bad to say about this place. We had a group of 10 and every one of us loved it. Everyone was helpful and polite. Miguel from Lomas Travel (who is at the resort all day) was amazing. He went so far out of his way to help us that he said if we needed anything from Walmart in Cancun, that... more

My wife and I have traveled some 20+ times to Mexico and this was by far the best resort we stayed at. We have criss-crossed the Yucatan and been diving in Coz a dozen times and visited off-the-beaten-track archeological sites only recently opened to the public. We have only done a half dozen all-inclusives and we rated the Valentin as... more

This was a beautiful resort but beware... My husband and I travelled here to celebrate my 30th birthday in March. The food was amazing. The room was great. The entertainment was fantastic. All of these things don't matter though if you don't feel safe... We had requested a room with an oceanfornt room on the second floor but did not... more

I read the reviews and couldn't pass up the rate so we stayed at the Valentin June 20-25th. Tip - Ask your travel agent for a non-stop transfers. It was great to be the first one dropped-off once arriving and the cost is cheap. Upon arrival went to check-in at 11:30 am and our room was ready I did tell... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Valentin from June 20 to June 28. We got the champagne and towels when we checked in and all of that went really well. Our room was terrific - We booked an Ocean Front and the view was gorgeous. We were in building 14 (room 14202). I had read on here that a... more

Just came back from 6 days at the Valentin Maya and it was by far the best vacation I've ever been on. My expectations were exceeded by far. Upon arrival, we were upgraded from the deluxe suite to a Junior Golden suite facing the private pool. What an amazing view! And this pool was so quiet, almost like a lazy... more
