The Rosewood Mayakoba is a large and beautifully maintained property. What not to miss: 1) plan to have the breakfast buffet at the main restaurant. Don't miss the cronuts, the muexli parfait, and the assortment of other delightful pastries and gourmet cheeses. 2) stay on the beach and wake up for a gorgeous sunrise 3) rent (free) bikes 4) use... Following 1 week of bare boating in the BVI, we flew on to Cancun for a few days of relaxation along the Mayan Riviera, before heading back to Europe via Miami. Having visited the Yucatan and its gorgeous coastline some 14 years ago, we were seriously shocked to see the mass tourist development and its inevitable impact that has taken... More

I have traveled extensively and yet I was amazed by the level of service and attention to detail at Rosewood Mayakoba. The staff here may easily teach the rest of the lodging industry how to provide constantly unparalleled service. The grounds are perfect. The rooms are wide and comfortable. Bathrooms and closet space ample. We stayed in an Ocean Front... More

The most extraordinary service, the most beautiful grounds, this is the best hotel I've stayed in to date! Here's a short list of things I loved about Rosewood Mayakoba: - The attention to detail and organization of my belongings and Suite items. - Slippers were replenished daily, always put away and out of the way. - The way my Suite... After a 20 journey to Los Angeles we arrived at LAX to the news Hawaii, Maui our original destination had been hit by two hurricanes! What made this even worse was that we had planned to get married in two days time on the island! Our flights had been pushed back and due to the weather warnings we decided to... More

It's all true - the Rosewood is excellent. The staff are unfailingly helpful (we found thus to be the case everywhere we went in Mexico). Special mention must go to JC, our butler who gave us some great restaurant recommendations. If you're staying a few nights you'll want to dine outside the resort. The Agave Azul Asian restaurant is fabulous... More

The Rosewood Mayakoba was exceptional in every way. From the moment we were picked up at the airport in an Escalade, to the check-in and trip to our beautiful villa via boat on the lagoon, to our private butler Frank (who was absolutely fantastic in every way!) to our daily bike ride to breakfast with the exceptional and intuitive waiter... You know when you see pictures of a hotel and it's nice, then you stay there and its nice and you happy. Rosewood Mayakoba is not like that. You get there and it is WAY better. If you want a great room or condo go to banyan tree. if you want a great pool, beach and food. Go to Rosewood. If you want a less expensive place go to the Fairmont. Although They... More

After A LOT of research my husband and I decided to get married and honeymoon here. We could not have picked a better place! We literally wanted for nothing from the minute we stepped out of the airport. The gentleman who met us for the airport transfer was extremely nice. We only waited about two minutes until our driver came... More
