I stayed here for a week. Impressed by the athosphere, staff and location. Right near the beach. The owner obviously care about the place as the hostel was very clean and finished to the finest detail. Lovely garden to chill in, and comfortable beds. Highly recommended.

This hostel was a dream! Not only were the rooms/ common area charming, comfortable, and clean but the staff was absolutely amazing! My friend and I got in bit of a sticky situation and everyone was so helpful and caring. I've stayed at several hostels around the world and I can say, hands down, that this is my favorite. And... I was travelling with another girl I volunteered with in Merida & fell in love with this hostel! It's colourful & actually quite unique in comparison to other hostels I've stayed in. The vibe is brilliant! We shared a room with varied nationalities & we all hung out at the beach, went for drinks/restaurant etc. The staff here are pretty... More

My boyfriend and I went to Benito rancho after reading all the good comments on trip advisor, attracted by the idea of a good Mexican coffee. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Smell the beach at Bendito Rancho Hostel! Located one block from popular Mamita's beach and 50 steps from famous Quinta Avenida you will find a unique concept hostel. Right in the middle of everything yet super laidback and quiet, surrounded by a lush tropical garden. Bendito means' blessed', and that is how you will feel while staying with us! The hostel is newly renovated and everything is clean and comfortable. The property is spacious, colorful and light and there always seems to be a fresh breeze. Linen and towels are included, as well as breakfast and someone around who can point you in the right direction for your next Mexican adventure. We can provide private accommodation as well. We roast our own organic coffee from Veracruz and bake our own pies and have a beautiful garden where we serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our Mexican friend's mom loves to cook so much that we decided to give her a restaurant. We don't regret it, and you will find out why soon enough. Imagine sitting under our sacred 'Ceiba' tree, enjoying the freshest coffee you have ever had, chatting to some newly made friends: you will not be able to stop smiling for having found such a little gem. ... more   less
